Georgetown, TX 3 June 4, 2025, two people were injured following a two-truck accident shortly before 2:45 a.m. along Interstate Highway 35.
According to authorities, a box truck was traveling on I.H. 35 in the vicinity of Southeast Inner Loop when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, it veered off of the side of the road before overcorrecting. The then struck the center median and overturned, coming to a stop resting on its side. The overturned box truck was then struck by an 18-wheeler with two trailers in tow.
Each of the drivers were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment for non-life-threatening injuries incurred over the course of the accident. Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identities of the victims—are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
