Delaware State Police are investigating a crash which killed a stranded motorist in Glasgow.
89-year-old Bernard Pinkett of New Castle was hit just after 5 a.m. this morning on Pulaski Highway near Biddle Avenue.
Troopers say Pinkett’s car had broken down and he was trying to cross the road when he was hit. Pinkett was rushed to the hospital, but died.
Pulaski Highway was closed for more than four hours for the investigation.
The Delaware State Police Troop 2 Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this incident. Troopers are asking anyone who witnessed this collision to please contact Corporal D.
