SALT LAKE CITY — Three people were injured after a vehicle hit a semitruck on Interstate 80 in Tooele County, according to the Wendover Fire Department.
At approximately 8:20 p.m. on Monday, a vehicle traveling westbound on I-80 near milepost 25 struck the rear of a semitruck that was parked on the right shoulder. The crash happened about 16 miles west of Knolls.
The vehicle sustained significant damage, injuring all three occupants. Wendover Ambulance personnel provided medical attention on the scene.

The Utah Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
