Brookfield, WI (September 11, 2025) – Emergency personnel responded Thursday morning to a high-speed rear-end collision involving a parked vehicle on the westbound side of Interstate 94 just west of Sunny Slope Rd in Brookfield.
The crash occurred around 5:44 a.m. when a vehicle traveling at a reported speed of over 70 MPH struck another vehicle that was parked on the right-hand shoulder of WB I-94. Emergency responders from Brookfield Fire and Rescue arrived promptly and provided aid to individuals suffering from injuries at the scene.
According to initial reports, the parked vehicle was stationary when it was rear-ended with significant force, causing notable damage and injuries to at least one person. Responders worked quickly to assess injuries and stabilize the scene while managing traffic around the incident site during the early morning commute.
Injuries have been confirmed, but the exact number of people hurt and the severity of their conditions have not yet been released. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision and whether visibility, driver distraction, or mechanical issues may have been contributing factors.
