ROME, N.Y. – A two-vehicle crash involving a tow truck and a car left one man injured on St. Rt. 365.
According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred on Jan. 3 at around 7:18 p.m. when Roan Scott, 22, of Rome, failed to move to the right lane for a tow truck.
The truck was attempting to winch a disabled vehicle out of the median.
Scott’s vehicle spun and partially exited the roadway, coming to rest facing eastbound.
The towing company towed the car from the scene, and Scott was taken to Wynn Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Scott received tickets returnable to Rome City Court.
