FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The driver of a Nissan Versa crashed into a Nissan Armada after that vehicle became disabled after running out of gas on Highway 41 in Downtown Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP says around 4:45 a.m. Monday, the Armada driver and passenger had walked away to try and find a nearby gas station; during that time, the Versa hit the Armada despite it having its hazard lights on.
The driver of the Versa was assisted out of the vehicle by Firefighters and transported to the hospital with a broken leg, CHP said.
