ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -A man died Saturday night after crashing into a stopped car.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, shortly after 9 p.m., a 2022 Dodge Ram 2500 was stopped at the gore point of North Outer Road and Interstate 44 heading west.
The driver of the Dodge was repairing the car and an attached tow unit.
While doing so, a 2018 Chevrolet Impala heading west hit the towed unit of the Dodge.
The Chevrolet left the roadway, struck a fence, and came to a rest in the grass divider.
The driver of the Chevrolet, a 73-year-old man from Fenton, died at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge did not have any reported injuries.
