Police Investigate Crash on Interstate 270 in St. Louis
St. Louis, MO (March 31, 2026) – A three-car crash on Interstate 270 at Highway 367 on Tuesday night left two adults and six children injured.
Authorities said the crash began when one vehicle ran out of gas and stopped in a lane of traffic in front of a second car.
A third vehicle then struck the second car, which pushed the second vehicle into the first.
Officials said all three vehicles were totaled. The people injured were inside the second and third vehicles, while the children involved ranged in age from 1 to 12 years old.
In the third vehicle, one adult and two children suffered minor injuries.
In the second vehicle, one adult and three children sustained minor to moderate injuries, while one 4-year-old child suffered serious injuries.
