Driver Dead After Crash on Interstate 30 in Fort Worth
Fort Worth, TX (March 31, 2026) – Police are investigating a deadly truck crash on Interstate 30 that killed an 18-wheeler driver Tuesday morning in Fort Worth.
The collision happened at about 8 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 30 near Cherry Lane.
According to Fort Worth police, the driver of a stalled 18-wheeler had exited his truck when another truck sideswiped him.
The impact killed the man at the scene, authorities said.
Aerial images from SKY 4 showed the big rig parked along the side of the freeway with numerous police units and wreckers nearby.
Investigators shut down all eastbound lanes of I-30 while they examined the crash scene.
Police have not yet said whether the driver involved in the collision stopped to render aid.
The investigation remains ongoing.
