BRIDGETON, Mo. — A Foristell man was fatally struck late Sunday night after getting out of his vehicle following a crash on Interstate 270.
According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, it happened at 11 p.m. Sunday on northbound I-270 at Missouri Route 370.
Troopers said the 40-year-old man had exited a disabled vehicle that had been involved in an earlier crash when he was struck by a silver Volvo. The driver left the scene after the crash.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
