BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (WLOX) — On Wednesday morning, a multivehicle crash on Highway 603 left two police officers with minor injuries.
The Bay St. Louis Police Department said Wednesday on Facebook that the officers were assisting the driver of a disabled semitruck when their units were hit by a vehicle traveling on the highway.
The department said the officers received only minor injuries and that everyone involved is okay.
The department reminded drivers to slow down, remain alert and move over when approaching emergency vehicles or disabled vehicles along the road.
