SHERIDAN, N.Y. — The New York State Police are investigating after a person was found dead near a disabled vehicle on the I-90 in the town of Sheridan Wednesday morning.
State Police say troopers out of SP Dunkirk were patrolling the I-90 around 6:30 a.m. when they located the vehicle and deceased person near the roadway.
Troopers and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation say they have located a suspect vehicle that left the scene.
Drivers should expect delays on the I-90 westbound near mile marker 463.
The investigation is ongoing.
