Pittsburg, CA (November 30, 2024) On Friday morning, a fatal traffic crash on Highway 4 is being investigated by authorities. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the deadly crash happened at 5:33 a.m. on eastbound Highway 4. Reports say that the deadly collision caused all lanes to close early Friday morning. Emergency responders were on the scene of the crash at approximately 3:52 AM, where they found three separate vehicles involved in the collision. According to reports, at least one of the vehicles was blocking multiple lanes on the highway, including the middle and slow lanes, which led to significant traffic disruption.

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Nov. 29, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — A 23-year-old motorist suffered devastating injuries Thanksgiving night after being struck by an 80-year-old driver as he stood near the back of his disabled vehicle at 1300 West 3300 South. According to a spokesperson for West Valley City PD, the man was standing in the dark about 10:21 p.m., attempting to repair his vehicle’s electrical system, when the accident happened. Due to the failure of the electrical system, the vehicle’s hazard lights were inoperative.

A fatal crash involving four vehicles on eastbound Highway 4 in Pittsburg shut down all lanes Friday morning. A severe traffic alert was issued at 5:33 a.m. before all lanes were reopened over three hours later. The crash occurred west of Railroad Avenue. Eastbound traffic of Highway 4 was diverted off at Bailey Road during the closure. All lanes were reopened at 9 a.m. According to CHP’s incident log, a disabled vehicle was blocking the middle lane before another vehicle collided with it.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — People were injured in a multiple-vehicle crash on US-131 in Grand Rapids Thursday night that shut down northbound lanes of the highway, the Grand Rapids Police Department confirmed. The closure is at northbound US-131 and 28th Street, according to GRPD and the Michigan Department of Transportation. Up to as many as 15 vehicles were reported to be in the crash, GRPD said, and some people are injured, although police did not provide a specific number.

SAN ANTONIO — A driver was injured and taken to the hospital after the car he was stranded in on the side of the highway was hit by a driver in a truck Saturday evening. It happened around 6:50 p.m. in the 5800 block of Northwest Loop 410 westbound. The 58-year-old man was seated inside his 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe on the right-side shoulder when the suspect in a tan 2020 Dodge RAM truck going westbound on Northwest Loop 410 veered off the main lanes and onto the shoulder striking the rear of his car.

AUBURN (WGME) – Maine State Police says a driver was hospitalized early Friday morning after a rollover crash on I-95 in Auburn. Police say the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. in the northbound lane near mile marker 75. Investigators say a vehicle traveling north lost control and spun out before coming to a stop in the road. A box truck, also traveling north, hit the stopped vehicle before also hitting a tractor-trailer.

David Ray, 41, of Blue Island, Illinois, was killed in a crash early Nov. 20 on Interstate 40. Police say Ray was stopped at 3:45 a.m., though they don’t know why, in the far right lane near Midway Road. A box truck hit car from behind, and Ray was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver was uninjured, police say.

BEE COUNTY, Tx — 12:50 PM UPDATE- D.P.S. has identified the victims of Friday morning’s crash as 22-year-old Marina Ramirez of Alice and 30-year-old Steven Gamez of Beeville. According to DPS, Ramirez was in her 2016 Kia Forte traveling north on State Highway 359 when she hit a 2017 Mack garbage truck travelling in front of her. Her Kia spun around and stopped in the northbound lane. Moments later, Gamez and his father pulled over to help her.
