Man dies in accident on HWY 191
MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - There was a highspeed accident on Highway 191 around 8 a.m. on July 12. According to the Midland Police Department, 73-year-old Tommy Earl Palmer stopped his car on the highway and was rear-ended by a Peterbilt cement truck. MPD does not know why Palmer stopped his car on the highway. Palmer was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital but he died from his injuries.

A Sandusky man and two passengers including a teenager were killed after a crash involving three vehicles in Seneca County Thursday morning, authorities said. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the incident happened on County Road 24 in Scipio Township just before 11 a.m. Troopers say a driver operating a Ram Promaster ran a stop sign at State Route 18 and hit a Ford pickup truck driven by 41-year-old Joseph Miller.

The vehicle of a missing Idaho woman found dead Tuesday appears to have vaulted off a nearly 60-foot cliff before submerging in a river, according to a preliminary report from the Wyoming Highway Patrol. The body of Laura Lane, 54, was found July 7 after her red Dodge Dart was pulled from the Buffalo Fork River near Moran, Wyoming, in Grand Teton National Park. The vehicle floated in heavy spring runoff before submerging under water about a quarter mile downstream, WHP reports.

MULBERRY, Fla. - A deadly crash closed a Mulberry road for several hours on Wednesday night. Deputies with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office say Rafael Bubaire, 49, of Tampa, was driving a Phos semi-truck hauling a dump trailer around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday when he stopped his rig in the northbound lane of Old Hwy 37 near Jamison Road, presumably due to a mechanical issue. (Deputies at the scene later said one of the right tires was flat).

(WISH) — A 50-year-old man died Wednesday after crashing the Tesla he was driving into the rear of a disabled semitractor-trailer on I-64 in rural Harrison County, Indiana State Police say. Suresh Kumar Lohano of Washington, Indiana, died in the crash reported about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday on I-64 eastbound about 5.5 miles west of the State Road 135 interchange for Corydon and Palmyra. The crash happened near the bridge for the Blue River.

A missing pastor was found dead in his car in the Des Plaines River, near Chicago, Tuesday night after he had been missing for a week, according to officials. Warren Beard, 53, was last heard from on July 2 and was last seen in Joliet, Illinois, according to the Chicago Police Department. Beard was the assistant pastor at New Israelite Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago. Video footage from July 2 shows Beard’s vehicle going through a gate and under a raised drawbridge before crashing into the river, Rockdale officials said at a press conference Tuesday.

Delaware State Police have identified the 38-year-old Maryland woman killed Sunday night after being hit by a car on I-495 near Edgemoor. According to police, Angel Alston, of Elkton, was trying to cross I-495 north near Edgemoor Road when she walked into the path of a Honda Accord that was in the left lane. The 47-year-old driver, from Bear, hit Alston before the car stopped on the left shoulder of the highway.

UPDATE (5:35 p.m.): First responders say it was a chaotic scene Tuesday morning as a crash involving 10 vehicles happened on Interstate 65 Northbound on the Dolly Parton Bridge. “As we were responding we were getting multiple reports of entrapment as well as multiple patients in multiple vehicles,” said Chief Mike Minchew with the Bay Minette Fire Department. According to authorities, 13 people were injured and transported from the scene.

Virginia State Police responded to a crash on Interstate 95 Express Lanes at the 160-mile marker in Prince William County. According to police, it is believed an SUV traveling north in the Express Lanes pulled off onto the right shoulder due to mechanical issues. Both the driver and a passenger exited the vehicle when a Ford F-150 pickup truck veered onto the shoulder and struck the male passenger/pedestrian and the disabled SUV.
