Three pedestrians struck, hospitalized after crash on I-35 near Paseo
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Three pedestrians were injured in a crash in Kansas City on Sunday morning. According to the Kansas City Police, emergency crews were called to the area of northbound I-35 and Paseo at around 11:20 a.m. on Sunday morning. Preliminary investigation revealed that a white Toyota Corolla was stopped on the right shoulder of the highway with three pedestrians standing outside of the vehicle. A white Dodge Ram pulling a trailer was traveling northbound on I-35.

FENTON, Mo. — A woman was killed minutes before midnight Saturday in a St. Louis County crash, police said. The woman, 27, from Caseyville, Illinois, was in a 2011 Toyota Camry that was stopped on I-44, blocking a westbound lane after a previous collision, a crash report from police said. According to the report, a second vehicle, a 2021 Ford SUV, was traveling in the westbound lanes when it rear-ended the Camry.

New Jersey State Police troopers responded around 4:39 a.m. to the southbound lanes at milepost 114.7 on the western spur in Carlstadt, Bergen County, NJSP Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. According to a preliminary investigation, a 25-year-old man from Paterson was driving a Honda Civic southbound when the vehicle veered onto the right shoulder, hit a guardrail, and crashed into the back of a parked International tractor-trailer, Lebron said. The Bronx man, who was riding in the passenger seat, suffered serious injuries.

Channelview, TX — June 25, 2025, one person was killed in a truck accident at about 11:30 p.m. on the Interstate 10/East Freeway service road. Authorities said a Toyota Prius rear-ended a crash truck that was screening a construction crew in the westbound lanes of interstate near Sheldon Road. The driver of the Prius died at the scene of the crash, according to authorities. His name has not been made public at this time.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – One person is dead, and another has been hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash occurred Thursday morning on Interstate 70 in east Columbus. According to Columbus police, officers responded to a crash near Reynoldsburg on Interstate 70 near the Interstate 270 interchange and Brice Road just before 2 a.m. Two people were taken to an area hospital, one in critical condition, the other in stable condition. Police said that the crash began when an unidentified adult was standing behind a 2003 Hyundai Sonata, which was stopped in the left lane of the highway.

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — An investigation is underway into a crash that injured a Rhode Island State Police trooper on I-95 South in Cranston Tuesday afternoon. The crash happened just after 3 p.m. as the trooper, who’s assigned to the Commercial Enforcement Unit, was inspecting a tractor-trailer in the breakdown lane near the Jefferson Boulevard exit, according to police. Police said the trooper’s unmarked pickup truck had its emergency lights activated when a minivan veered into the breakdown lane and slammed into the back of it.

MONROE COUNTY, Mich. — A semi-truck driver was killed and several Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) workers were injured in a crash in Monroe County Tuesday morning. According to a social media post from Michigan State Police First District (MSP), a semi-truck with a trailer was traveling northbound on I-75 near I-275 in Frenchtown Township at approximately 9:45 a.m. near exit 18. The semi-truck was traveling near an area where MDOT construction workers were patching the left lane of I-75, MSP said.

BEAVER — A Draper man died after he was struck by a semitruck on Friday while checking his engine at the side of Interstate 15 near Beaver. Utah Highway Patrol investigators say Joseph C. Hansen, 29, had pulled his vehicle onto the right shoulder of the southbound lanes of the freeway at the north end of Beaver. Hansen got out of his vehicle, apparently to check his engine, and walked to the front and lifted the hood, according to a UHP report.

A veteran Los Angeles Police Department sergeant was struck and killed when he got out of his vehicle to assist with a collision on the 405 Freeway early Monday morning, officials said. Both collisions occurred around 2 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the 405 near Getty Center Drive. Authorities said Sgt. Shiou Deng came upon a recent collision on the 405 Freeway near Moraga Drive around 2 a.m. and stopped with his lights on to help.
