Teenager Hit by Car While Helping Other Driver in Manchester, NH
An 18-year-old was hit by a car in Manchester, New Hampshire Tuesday night, after pulling over to help the driver of a disabled pickup truck, according to state police. The pickup, a 2007 Chevy, was disabled near the center median of Raymond Wieczorek Drive, just west of the Roundstone Drive intersection, according to New Hampshire State Police. That’s where the 18-year-old driver of a Honda Civic stopped to help out.

PREBLE, OH, (December 26, 2022) - A 42-year-old man was seriously injured Monday evening when he was hit by a vehicle along Ohio State Route 122 in Preble County. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Billy Joe Thompson, of Franklin, was operating a 2003 Ford Ranger pickup truck along SR 122 when the vehicle became disabled around 8:30 p.m. Subsequently, the 29-year-old driver of a Chevrolet P-Series stopped and attempted to assist Thompson push the disabled vehicle out of the roadway when a 2020 BMW X5 hit the Ford, Thompson, and the Chevrolet.

(QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A 26-year-old woman was found dead two days after her car flipped over a bridge railing and landed in the South Yadkin River in Iredell County, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. Highway Patrol said troopers responded to investigate a crash around 3:10 p.m. on December 24 on Garden Valley Road near the I-40 overpass. Troopers said a 1999 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight had been traveling north on Garden Valley Rd when it crossed the center line, ran off the road to the left, struck a bridge railing, overturned and became submerged in the river.

POLK COUNTY, Iowa — A man is dead following a crash in Polk County early Christmas morning, according to an Iowa State Patrol crash report. A Hyundai Sonata was traveling eastbound on Interstate 80 when it veered off the roadway and rear-ended an unoccupied semi-truck parked on the shoulder near mile marker 140 around 2:11 a.m. The driver of the Sonata, 54-year-old Anthony Marco Mullenberg, of Des Moines, died in the crash.

The crash happened eastbound between State Route 53 and State Route 4 in Sandusky County and eventually stretched into Erie County. Forty-six vehicles were involved in the crash, according to OSHP Sgt. Ryan Purpura. At least three of the four victims were in different vehicles.
