Wichita man seriously injured after hitting a car that was stopped for another crash
WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A man from Wichita was seriously injured Wednesday morning after he hit a car that was stopped for another crash. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, around 6:30 a.m., the driver of a 2013 Subaru Legacy was stopped sideways partially in the roadway of Interstate 35 in Wichita after a previous crash. The KHP says a 55-year-old man from Wichita driving a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado failed to see the Subaru Legacy until it was too late, and he hit it.

LADSON, S.C. (WCIV) — The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified the 23-year-old killed in a crash early Saturday morning. Sr Ezu Resuda, of Lexington, South Carolina, was pronounced deceased on scene. The coroner’s office was dispatched to mile marker 203 East on Interstate 26 around 3:26 a.m. on Feb. 11 Resuda had been involved in a collision and was struck by a vehicle when he exited his own vehicle to contact authorities, according to the coroner’s office.

LUBBOCK, TX, (February 09, 2023) - Phillip Marcus Carter was struck and killed by a vehicle on Feb. 9 on Highway 84 near Lubbock According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), Carter was exiting his car after a crash when he was hit by a passing vehicle. Carter’s vehicle had been involved in a crash with a Toyota Prius. The accident remains under investigation.

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office says a man who was assisting a disabled motorist on died in the overnight hours of Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle. Drew Holler, 43, from Summerville, died at the scene of the crash at approximately 1:59 a.m. in the 800 block of College Park Road, Coroner Darnell Hartwell said. South Carolina Highway Patrol Master Trooper Brandon Bolt said a 2022 Jeep SUV was traveling west on College Park Road when it entered the median of the roadway where Holler was standing near an unoccupied disabled 2017 Honda Civic.

GREENE COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) - A Springfield man has died after a crash with a semi-truck Saturday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the crash happened around 4:20 a.m. when a 2011 Peterbilt semi-truck going east attempted to make a U-turn on James River Freeway, and his truck became disabled, blocking the westbound lanes when a 2018 Ford Taurus hit the passenger side of the towed unit of the semi.

A 34-year-old Dallas man was killed in a traffic accident on Interstate 20 in Fort Worth last Saturday as he tried to exchange insurance information with another driver following a previous crash, family members said. A motorcyclist also was killed in the accident when his vehicle hit Sergio Torres Hernandez’s car, which then struck the Dallas man. Torres Hernandez and the motorcyclist were pronounced dead at the scene. The family of the Dallas man have created a GoFundMe account to help with funeral expenses and medical costs.

BUTLER COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) - A Greenville man has died after being hit while pushing his disabled 1992 Nissan pickup off the roadway, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. Troopers said Kenneth Holland, 31, was critically injured when he was struck by a 1999 Infinity QX4 driven by an 18-year-old juvenile. COLUMBUS, OH, (February 09, 2023) - One person was killed, and three others suffered injuries after a Thursday morning crash on Interstate 70 in East Side, according to Columbus police. The events unfolded shortly after midnight on Thursday morning on I-70 westbound at the exit to Interstate 270. Police say a Ford Explorer driven by a 43-year-old Driving Park woman was traveling west on I-70 approaching the exit ramps when she struck an impact attenuator on the highway, causing the vehicle to become disabled.

A crash Wednesday morning on U.S. 10 claimed the life of a man from Saginaw. According to police, around 6:40 a.m. the 39-year-old man was driving a 2003 Dodge Dakota westbound on the overpass that spans I-75, when he lost control and struck the guard rail. Police say that a 2012 Dodge Ram then crashed into the disabled vehicle, leading to a chain reaction involving a Hummer and a Volvo. Two other westbound vehicles reportedly crashed while trying to avoid the pile-up.
