Person struck by truck dies in hit-and-run crash on I-75
A hit-and-run crash Thursday night on Interstate 75 in a new construction zone that has been the source of multiple crashes and backups this week led to the death of 20-year-old Emily Ryan of Franklin, according to Moraine police. The incident took place around 12:15 a.m. just north of the Dryden Road exit ramp in the southbound lanes, near the ongoing I-75 construction project. Ryan’s vehicle apparently had broken down in a construction zone and was in the right lane, said Sgt.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) – A truck driver was killed when a car crashed into him as he loaded equipment onto an 18-wheeler on North I-45 near FM 1960 Thursday morning. The crash happened at about 9:14 a.m., according to Harris County Sheriff’s Office Captain Anthony McConnell. The truck parked on the feeder road as the driver worked to load equipment from Public Storage when McConnell said another vehicle, headed north, drove up onto and off the trailer, striking the driver standing next to the truck.

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - A 61-year-old Richmond man died and five other people were taken to the hospital after a crash on the Lee Bridge on Tuesday afternoon. Officers were called to the scene just before 3 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the bridge. Police said an SUV collided into the rear of a disabled vehicle on the bridge. Ellis Green Jr., who was in the vehicle that was struck, died at the hospital later in the day.

As per the report, the man was helping his daughter change a flat tire on the shoulder of Interstate 69 when a Ford Expedition hit him.

Robert Tincani, of East Palestine, Ohio, was driving a tractor trailer west on Interstate 90 between exits 46 (Rochester/Corning) and 47 (LeRoy) when it was struck from behind by a Toyota RAV4. As the drivers exchanged information outside their vehicles, according to state police, a PC Logistics Group tractor trailer struck the RAV4 and overturned, hitting Tincani as he walked to his vehicle.

COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Troopers are investigating a deadly crash after a disabled vehicle was hit on the side of the highway Sunday morning. According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet Sudan was disabled along I-95 South when a Jeep SUV struck the Chevrolet, veered off the road, and overturned. The crash happened at 1:34 a.m. near mile marker 45. The driver of the Chevrolet received deadly injuries. A passenger of the vehicle was transported for treatment.
