Clinton M. Jones sadly dies after being hit by semi-truck
WASHINGTON, IL, (November 18, 2022) - Clinton M. Jones was tragically struck and killed by a tractor-trailer on Friday, Nov. 18, in Washington County. Jones, 42, was hit at about 3:44 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 64 after he parked his vehicle and exited it. The crash remains under investigation.

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A rear-end crash on Interstate 95 in Volusia County caused a semitruck to overturn, spilling sand across the northbound lanes, according to Florida Highway Patrol. The crash happened around 6 a.m. Monday near mile marker 239. According to FHP, a Dodge Durango traveling in the outside lane failed to slow down and struck the back of a Chevrolet Silverado, causing the Silverado to go off the roadway and into bushes and a tree.

AUBURN, Calif. — A major multi-vehicle crash involving a truck hauling a trailer jackknifed on Interstate 80 is delaying traffic Sunday afternoon, authorities said. Authorities said two separate crashes happened on I-80 at the Elm Avenue exit in the Auburn area, according to Caltrans. The first crash had three vehicles involved, the California Highway Patrol said. A truck that was pulling a flatbed trailer then jackknifed while trying to avoid the crash, which led to another collision.

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Three people involved in a wreck on Interstate 20 early Sunday morning were hit by another car – leaving one person dead and two others in critical condition. Just before 2:15 a.m., officers were responding to an accident on I-20 eastbound at Turner Hill Road. While they were on their way, the call was upgraded when they said several occupants of the cars involved were standing outside their vehicles when they were hit by another car.

Kelley Rodriguez, 40 years old, of Lincoln, NE, was identified as the female that died in a fatal two-vehicle crash one mile south of Brookings on Interstate 29. According to the report, on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022 around 10:51 am, Rodriguez was driving a 2020 Chevy Equinox and “was stationary in the driving lane of Interstate 29 when it was rear-ended by a 2020 Mack Anthem Truck and Tanker.” No additional information was provided about why Equinox was stopped on the road.

MARION COUNTY, W.Va. – A Facebook post from the Valley Volunteer Fire Department has reported that a man was found dead after a vehicle accident in Marion County Nov. 18. According to the post, on Nov. 18, at around 8:20 a.m., Rescue-121 and Utility-127 with the Valley VFD responded to a report of a vehicle accident with entrapment at Middletown Road and Industrial Park Road. The single vehicle was found in a 80’ embankment into the nearby creek by Whitehall PD.

UNION, SC, (November 16, 2022) - Johnathon Douglas Davis, 34, from Buffalo, tragically was killed Wednesday night following a fatal pedestrian crash in Union County. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Davis was working on a stalled vehicle on SC 215 near Lukesville Road when he was hit by a passing vehicle at 8:11 p.m. The Buffalo man sustained fatal injuries and was killed in the collision. The vehicle driver was not injured.

The aunt of 26-year-old Felix Romero says she can only pray for him now that he’s left with critical injuries. The Lawrence man was struck on Route 3 northbound in Tyngsboro by a driver in a white box truck who State Police say took off from the scene headed over the New Hampshire border.

A tractor-trailer driven by a Kentucky man was parked on the right shoulder of I-84 near the off-ramp.

The first crash happened when a pickup truck crashed into a wall and then came to rest on the shoulder on I-70 westbound. A box truck then struck the pickup truck, the spokesperson said.
