3 INJURED IN MULTI-VEHICLE CRASH ON INTERSTATE 5 [KINGS COUNTY, CA]
KINGS COUNTY, CA (June 16, 2022) – On Tuesday, three people sustained injuries following a multi-vehicle crash at Interstate 5. The collision happened 11:10 p.m., June 14th, along the I-5 just north of Highway 41, south of Kettleman City. Officials said the first crash occurred when an Audi traveling southbound on the I-5 made an unsafe turn and collided with the side of a big rig trailer driving in the same direction.

A fiery crash involving at least three vehicles caused traffic to back up heading into Owasso early Thursday. The collision occurred around 6:30 a.m. near 76th Street North in the northbound lanes of U.S. 169, where emergency crews responded to reports of a multiple-vehicle accident, according to an Owasso police report. It states that seven people, including three children, were involved in the crash, and that six were taken to hospitals.

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are trying to determine what caused a driver in a pickup truck to slam into the back of an 18-wheeler parked on the shoulder of a Northeast Side highway. The crash happened shortly after 2 a.m. Thursday along southbound Interstate 35, just south of Walzem Road. Police say the driver of the big rig had pulled over on the highway after noticing some of the tires on his trailer were flat.

DETROIT (WWJ) – Two people are hospitalized with severe head injuries after a driver rear-ended their stalled car on the Lodge Freeway in Detroit. Michigan State Police say they received a call around 1:25 a.m. Wednesday about a Honda Odyssey blocking the right lane of the Lodge northbound at Hamilton. On their way to the scene, troopers were notified that a crash occurred. The Honda, which was disabled, ended up getting rear-ended by a Jeep Wrangler.

According to a public information release from Officer Chuck McPhilamy, the Marietta Police Department‘s Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (S.T.E.P.) Unit is investigating a multi-vehicle serious injury crash that occurred Tuesday night at 10:26 p.m. on I-75 Northbound at the Allgood Road overpass. The pile-up resulted in life-threatening injuries to one person, and injuries to others. Investigators report that a 2012 Chrysler 300 driven by an 18-year-old South Carolina man, a 1992 GMC Sierra driven by 59-year-old man from Buford, GA, a 2019 VW Jetta driven by a 33-year-old man from Marietta, and a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu driven by a 24-year-old Conyers man, were all headed northbound in the left lane.

Authorities say the incident happened early Monday morning at Interstate 30 and Dolphin Road. Preliminary investigation suggests the victim’s car was stalled in the left travel lane of the roadway when a box truck crashed into it. Another car and a pickup truck also became involved in the wreck.

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Three people are dead after a series of fatal crashes. The latest crash happened around 2:51 a.m. Monday in Orangeburg County. The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a 2016 Jeep Patriot stopped on the westbound side of Interstate 26, near mile marker 147. The car stopped in the right lane with the car lights off, and a tractor-trailer came traveling down the interstate and struck the rear of the Jeep.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A good Samaritan died early Monday morning after trying to help a man involved in a hit-and-run crash on the Southside Connector, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. FHP says that just after 12:30 a.m. Monday, a pick-up truck driven by a 22-year-old man from Texas was hit by a vehicle while getting onto the Southside Connector from the entrance ramp of Trednick Parkway. That vehicle didn’t stop at the scene, and FHP didn’t have a description of it.

An 11-year-old and an adult were struck and killed while trying to push a stalled Jeep out of the road in Hallandale Beach on Saturday night. According to the incident report, the Jeep had become disabled in the roadway and a Good Samaritan parked his vehicle to help push the Jeep out of the road with his 11-year-old son. As they were assisting the driver of the Jeep, police said a gray Ford struck the Jeep, the driver, the good Samaritan and his son from behind.
