Semi driver struck, killed while walking toward Hancock County Amazon facility
HANCOCK COUNTY — An Indianapolis man died after being struck by a driver while he was walking toward an Amazon facility from a semi-truck he had parked in the middle of the road, police say. Harvail Singh, 66, died after he was hit by the driver of a second semi headed westbound almost immediately after he exited his vehicle, which was parked in a two-way turn lane on County Road 300 North outside the facility, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.

Idaho State Police is investigating a three-vehicle crash that occurred on Wednesday, October 19th, 2022, at 8:53 p.m. on interstate 84 at mile marker 163, in Jerome County. A 32-year-old female from Meridian was travelling westbound on I84 in a 2012 freightliner semi-truck when she left the roadway, went through the median, rolled, and landed in the eastbound lanes of travel.

A Brazilian TikTok influencer, who went missing for two days, has been found dead in her car after allegedly driving off a cliff. Authorities reportedly discovered the deceased woman, 41-year-old Raquel da Silva Moura Medeiros, in an overturned vehicle near the BR-364 motorway in Ariquemes, Rondônia, on Oct. 18, Jam Press reported. The Federal Highway Police deduced that her vehicle flipped over after plummeting off a cliff on the side of the road with no foul play suspected.

Brevard County, FL — October 19, 2022, two men were injured in an accident involving two tractor-trailers on Interstate 95 in Brevard County. Authorities say the incident happened around 5:00 p.m. on I-95 near State Road 520. Preliminary investigation suggests an 18-wheeler was stopped on the shoulder with reported mechanical issues and its 22-year-old driver had placed cones or reflectors behind it. Shortly afterward a southbound heavy-duty straight truck drifted onto the shoulder for unknown reasons and hit the disabled big rig.

WILL COUNTY, Ill. (WLS) – The southbound lanes of I-55 south of I-80 reopened Wednesday afternoon hours after a crash involving two semi-trucks in Will County Wednesday morning. The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of I-55 just south of I-80. All lanes of southbound I-55 were shut down from the crash. The lanes reopened Wednesday afternoon. Illinois State Police responded to the crash at about 5:28 a.m. Police said one of the semi-trucks was parked on the right shoulder when it was hit by another semi-truck.

Pennsylvania State Police in Beaver are reporting that they were called to the scene of a two-vehicle accident along Interstate 376 Eastbound in the area of Gringo-Clinton Road at about 5:00 PM last Thursday, October 13, 2022. Upon arriving and investigating it was learned that 28-year-old Ethan Peltz of Cadiz, Ohio was operating a 2019 Ford Eco Sport eastbound near the Allegheny and Beaver County Line when he failed to stay within the right lane and struck an unoccupied 2009 Nissan Maxima that was sitting on the right shoulder of the road.

As the Pilot started to turn a Honda CR-V crashed into it from behind.

A witness said the car had hit a deer right before it happened. According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to southbound I-69 near mile marker 111 just after 6:05 a.m. INDOT said the crash happened between That Road and IN 445. A witness told police they were heading south on I-69 and were in the fast lane next to another car after passing the semi.
