Pickup truck rear-ends semi on I-69
DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — A crash snarled traffic on southbound Interstate 69 in southern DeKalb County for more than an hour Friday afternoon. The crash happened around 3:20 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate, in the area of C.R. 68, about five miles north of the Union Chapel Road interchange. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department said John Poss, 58, of Paducah, Texas, was driving a semi in the right lane and started to slow down for a traffic backup, turning on his hazard lights.

MALVERN, Ark — Arkansas Department of Transportation crews took over 24 hours to clear all lanes along I-30 westbound after a fiery, fatal, multi-vehicle crash happened on Wednesday. Kingsville, TX – May 25, 2022, Caleb Aaron Smith was injured due to an accident where an 18-wheeler hit Smith’s vehicle. Investigators reported that the crash took place at around 12:54 a.m. along US Highway 77 near Corral Avenue. According to officials, 31-year-old Caleb Aaron Smith was in a GMC Envoy traveling southbound along the highway during inclement weather. Police claim that Smith was going too fast for conditions, causing the car to lose control and hit the barrier.

INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana State Police are investigating a crash involving a Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office vehicle. According to ISP, a truck was broken down near 10th Street and Ardsley Drive on the west side around 2:10 a.m. It was then hit by a Hendricks County deputy who was returning from a run in a department-issued SUV. The driver of the truck was seriously injured, says police. It’s unclear if the driver was inside the truck or outside of it when the crash happened.

Jun. 9—A city woman and her infant passenger were unharmed after their car was hit by a truck driven by a Massachusetts man Thursday morning on Interstate 93 southbound in Manchester, state police said. Around 10:35 a.m. Thursday, state troopers and Manchester police and fire personnel responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash and rollover on Interstate 93 Southbound near mile marker 20.8 in the Queen City. According to state police, an initial investigation determined a red Subaru Impreza became disabled for unknown mechanical reasons, stopping in a travel lane with its hazard lights on.

SANDSTONE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WILX) - One man is dead and several people have been hospitalized following a Wednesday morning crash on I-94. According to authorities, deputies from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded just before 10:30 a.m. to westbound I-94, east of Sandstone Road, in Sandstone Township for a two-vehicle crash. Sheriff Gary Schuette said the crash happened while traffic on I-94 was stopped due to a separate crash being investigated near Dearing Road.

ST. LOUIS — A car that was empty and stopped in the middle of Interstate 70 led to a fatal crash early Wednesday morning in St. Louis. Emergency crews responded at 12:35 a.m. to the eastbound lanes of I-70 near Kingshighway Boulevard in north city. They found two vehicles with extensive damage. One of them, a Dodge Ram pickup truck, was on its side. A preliminary investigation from St. Louis police found the pickup truck driver hit a car, which was stopped in the second lane of the highway.

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – A woman was killed in a crash Wednesday morning on Interstate 595 in Broward County, and a 4-year-old boy inside her car was injured, authorities confirmed. A male driver of a disabled vehicle was struck and killed in a hit-and-run vehicular incident on Parkway East early Sunday morning, state police said. Troopers responded to the scene around 2:19 a.m. near Exit-73 Oakland/Glenwood. The vehicle owned by Zaonte Davis, 24, of Clairton, became disabled in the eastbound lanes, according to police. Mr. Davis had called an acquaintance for help. That person pulled onto the shoulder of the westbound lanes of the parkway.

On Thursday night, one person suffered injuries following a multi-vehicle wreck in Santa Rosa. As per the initial information, the hit-and-run crash took place at approximately 11 p.m. on the westbound Highway 12 near the Stony Point Road exit. The preliminary investigation indicated that the Maxima driver sideswiped a Toyota Prius, which traveled off the roadway and rolled onto its roof. After that, the Maxima hit the center guardrail and ended up in the middle of the right lane.
