UPDATE: Pedestrian reportedly killed on I-77
CAMP CREEK, WV (WVNS) — According to the WV Turnpike Authority, a pedestrian was hit by a car on the WV Turnpike. Police told our reporter on scene a man was stopped near mile marker 18 northbound on I-77. The man was reportedly changing a tire when he was hit and killed. We do not know if criminal charges will be filed in this case. The victims name was not released.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – One man is dead after a semi-truck crashed into his car overnight on I-65 in Williamson County. The crash happened Wednesday just after midnight in the northbound lanes of I-65 ahead of the Moores Lane exit near mile marker 69. According to Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 2005 Nissan Murano was stalled in lanes of traffic on I-65 with no light indicators on. Officials say that’s when a semi-truck traveling on I-65 rear-ended the Nissan Murano killing 59-year-old Edem Attih, of Brentwood.

Bloomsburg, PA – February 2, 2022, injuries were reported following an accident after a crash involving a semi-truck along I-80. Investigators reported that the crash took place at around 2:00 a.m. near the eastbound exit for Buckhorn. Scott Township and Columbia County officials arrived to find a multi-vehicle wreck including at least one semi-truck. It appears the truck crashed into a disabled vehicle, following which another truck hit that car.

Liberty County, GA – February 1, 2022, one person was killed when two 18-wheelers collided on Interstate 95 in Liberty County. Authorities say the incident happened Tuesday afternoon on northbound I-95 near mile marker 71. Preliminary investigation suggests a commercial tractor-trailer was parked on the shoulder when another big rig left the roadway and crashed into it. One person was killed in the collision. Another was transported to a Savannah hospital with injuries believed to be minor.

One person has died after a serious crash this afternoon. According to State Police Association of Massachusetts, just after noon earlier this afternoon, members assigned to the State Police-Foxboro Barracks responded to a crash on Route 1 Southbound in Sharon. When Troopers arrived on scene, they discovered a Ford Escape fully engulfed following a multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer and pickup truck. Preliminary investigation indicates that the Ford Escape struck the tractor trailer that was parked in the break down lane, causing the escape to spin into a Massachusetts Forest Fire Control Service pickup truck for reasons still under investigation.

Oak Hills, CA – January 30, 2022, two people were injured when a passenger vehicle crashed into a tractor-trailer hauling poultry on the 15 Freeway in Oak Hills. Authorities say the incident happened shortly after 11:00 p.m. on the southbound 15 Freeway. Preliminary investigation suggests only that a Dodge Challenger was traveling south when the driver lost control for unknown reasons and crashed into the rear of a parked 18-wheeler. Both vehicles then caught fire.

NORTH HARMONY, N.Y. (WIVB) — Early Monday morning, a crash involving a tractor trailer briefly closed down part of I-86. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says that around 2:30 a.m., a 21-year-old driver crashed into the back of the tractor trailer. At the time, the truck was pulled over on the shoulder of the highway’s eastbound lanes. After suffering serious injuries, the driver who hit the trailer was flown to a hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania.

A 41-year-old Vermont man suffered suspected serious injuries when the car he was driving struck a tractor-trailer on the shoulder of I-78 west in Lower Saucon Township earlier this month, Pennsylvania State Police at Belfast said Sunday. In a news release, police said Jason K. Relyea of Burlington, Vt., was operating a 2004 Honda Accord in the highway’s right lane when he veered into the shoulder and struck the truck in the area of mile marker 70.
