New Braunfels Police Department searching for driver involved in deadly hit-and-run
The New Braunfels Police Department are searching for the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash early Saturday morning. It happened around 8:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of Interstate 35 North at Highway 46 in the northbound lanes. When officers arrived on scene they found the driver of an 18-wheeler pulled over on the shoulder of the highway and was standing near the back left corner of the trailer when he was hit by a car traveling northbound.

MT. JULIET, Tenn (WTVF) — Jeizon Arellano, 17, was standing next to a trailer working to change a flat tire when he was hit by a vehicle. He died Thursday night from his injuries. NewsChannel 5 talked with the family earlier in the day before he passed. They said they were praying for a miracle. “I don’t know. It doesn’t seem real, like, I still think he’s gonna be okay,” said Jeizon’s brother Brandon Arellano.

Two brothers – one a first grader and the other a high school student – were killed in a crash on Interstate 89 in Bow, New Hampshire, on Friday morning. Bow School Superintendent Dean Cascadden identified the brothers as 11th grader Nicholas Ouellette and first grader Gavin Ouellette of Bow in a statement to the school community. The boys’ father, Tom Ouellette, the Bow school resource officer, suffered serious injuries in the crash, but is expected to survive.

TAYLOR COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A 21-year-old Louisville man was killed Wednesday when his car careened into the path of an 18-wheeler. According to the Kentucky State Police, at about 12:20 p.m. Wednesday, troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on KY 210 in Taylor County Preliminary investigations indicate Timothy McAtee, of Louisville, was southbound on KY 210 in a 2019 Nissan Altima, when he lost control, ran off the right shoulder, struck a guardrail, crossed back into the northbound lane into the path of a 2013 Peterbilt driven by 55-year-old Sidney Dosier, of Magnolia, Ky.

A Florida trucker was sentenced to a plea-bargained four years in state prison for fleeing a tractor-trailer crash that killed a 21-year-old Teaneck native on Route 95 in Fort Lee last year. LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead after he was struck by a car Wednesday on Interstate 264. According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, the incident was reported just before 5 p.m. on the interstate at Cane Run Road. Investigators learned that a man, James D. Miracle, was in the process of picking up some equipment off the roadway when he was struck. The silver sedan that struck the 50-year-old stopped at the scene until police arrived.

TORONTO – Ontario Provincial Police say that a female pedestrian was struck and killed while she was trying to jumpstart a car on Highway 401 near Whitby early Wednesday morning. It happened in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Mill Street in Clarington at approximately 12:10 a.m., OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said in a video posted to Twitter. At that time, a male and female occupant were outside of a disabled Ford Mustang, which was stopped on the left shoulder of the highway, and attempted to boost the vehicle.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - The Arizona Department of Public Safety is asking the public for help in identifying a suspect driver in a fatal hit-and-run collision that happened on Aug. 21. Officials say at approximately 3:11 a.m., 21-year-old Frederick Alexander was doing a repair service on a car when a passing tractor-trailer drove onto the right emergency shoulder and struck him, causing fatal injuries. The stranded motorist described the suspect’s vehicle as a white semi-truck with an enclosed box trailer.

Allen County, IN – September 2, 2021, injuries were reported when a tractor-trailer sideswiped a disabled semi-truck on Interstate 69 in Allen County. Authorities say the incident happened around 7:30 a.m. on the interstate near the Bluffton Road interchange. Preliminary investigation suggests an eastbound 18-wheeler collided with a broken-down truck on the shoulder of the roadway. The impact ripped the disabled truck’s trailer open and heavily damaged its tractor. The other semi-truck left the roadway and overturned in a nearby field.

The driver exited the truck and placed triangle reflectors behind the truck to warn approaching traffic, then went to the shoulder of the road.
