Seaford man dies after struck by car
A Seaford man was fatally struck by a vehicle May 31 along Route 113 in Dagsboro. The man, 21, had pulled over onto the southbound shoulder of Route 113 at about 10 p.m. when a Honda Accord driven by a Frankford man, 31, struck him in the left travel lane, said Master Cpl. Heather Pepper of the Delaware State Police. The driver of the Accord did not see the Seaford man, who was wearing dark-colored clothing and was not using a light, Pepper said.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - A woman was killed after being ejected from her car during a crash on the Florida Turnpike, troopers said. The Florida Highway Patrol said that the incident happened at about 3 a.m. Monday in Orange County.They said that a vehicle was traveling southbound on the Florida Turnpike while a second vehicle was stopped on the inside, southbound shoulder, with its hazard lights activated. The vehicle in movement failed to keep control of the car and left the roadway.

A Baltimore man was killed after he got out of his car on Hwy. 169 in Bloomington early Saturday morning and was struck by a compact SUV. The 21-year-old man stopped his car in the right lane on northbound 169 just north of Anderson Lakes Parkway before he was hit at 4:03 a.m. Saturday, the Minnesota State Patrol said. His name has not been released. The man’s passenger, Anne Areit Cham, 18, of Heron Lake, Minn.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a 30-year-old man from Palm Coast was killed in the crash involving three cars. FHP says the man, driving a Chevy Impala, reportedly failed to slow down and struck a Toyota Camry in front of him from behind. The Camry ended up being run off the road and hit a guardrail.

A Hale, Missouri, man has died following a crash that happened on Sunday night in Livingston County. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Charles Plummer, 75, was traveling north on Route JJ one and a half miles north of Avalon, Missouri, when he struck the back of a stopped vehicle which then hit a pedestrian.Susan Bachman, 63, of Chillicothe, Missouri, had stopped and was in front of her car to use a leaf blower to remove grass from the highway when the incident happened, the patrol report said.
