Man dies in A303 crash involving broken-down vehicle
Officers were called to the scene on the A303 between Podimore and Ilchester in Somerset at 21:30 BST on Monday. Avon and Somerset Police said a black Isuzu Rodeo pick-up collided with a red Mazda 6 car which had broken down. The man in the pick up was pronounced dead at the scene. He has not been formally identified, but his next of kin have been made aware, police said.

The victim was a 23-year-old Tampa man whose disabled vehicle was parked on the shoulder and the roadway. A pickup truck slammed into the back of a disabled car that was parked partially on a roadway south of Zephyrhills, killing the driver of the car, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The crash occurred at 11:58 p.m. Monday on U.S. 301 north of Chancey Road. The victim was a 23-year-old Tampa man whose disabled car was parked on the shoulder and the roadway.

ADRIAN TWP. — An Adrian man’s body was found Monday afternoon about 50 feet from a car that was located in a wooded area off Bent Oak Highway, police reported Tuesday. Adrian Township police and firefighters were dispatched at 3:49 p.m. Monday to the area of Bent Oak Highway and Shepherd Road for a crash, and a single vehicle was found in the woods along Bent Oak, about 100 feet off the road, a news release from the Adrian Township Police Department said.

A 19-year-old woman died in a weekend crash on Highway 101 after the vehicle she drove hit a center retaining wall and then was struck by two other vehicles as it went back across the highway, the California Highway Patrol said. The crash happened at about 3:10 a.m. Sunday in the southbound lanes, south of Fair Oaks Avenue, according to a statement from CHP spokesman Officer Ross Lee. Authorities identified the woman as Briana Jones, of San Jose.

On Sunday at about 6:45 p.m., the State Police’s Leominster Barracks was advised of a multiple-vehicle crash with possible serious injuries on Route 2 westbound in the area of the 100.8 mile marker in Leominster. When troopers arrived on scene they immediately requested EMS.

After he pulled onto the shoulder the driver was about to exit to check his tires when an eastbound Ford Explorer hit the Chevy, ripping off its driver’s side door and injuring the victim.

A young man has tragically died after being struck by a car while helping a ride-share driver change a tyre on the side of the road. The 21-year-old had been a passenger in a white Mitsubishi Outlander when it pulled over on the side of the Mitchell Freeway in Perth around 5am on Sunday. The Good Samaritan had just finished changing the tyre and was packing up the equipment when he was hit by an oncoming Toyota Prado.
