Two Maine men injured in I95 crash in Greenland
Nov. 22—Two men from Maine were injured early Sunday when the car they were in hit a disabled vehicle on Interstate 95 North in Greenland, state police said. Around 2:13 a.m. Sunday, state police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Interstate 95 northbound in Greenland. A 2006 Chevrolet Equinox was involved in a rollover crash and on its side in the left travel lane of I-95 when it was hit by a 2014 Toyota Camry, driven by Omar Sowamrah, 26, of Portland, Maine, officials said.

A Hyattsville man was killed early Friday morning when a truck carrying an intermodal trailer struck his car on Interstate 270 in Germantown, according to Maryland State police. Around 2 a.m. Friday, Andres A. Landaeta Yaguaro, 31, was stopped in his 2016 Ford Fusion in one of the northbound lanes on the interstate just south of Middlebrook Road, according to a statement from state police. Police said they don’t know why he was stopped.

GREENFIELD TOWNSHIP, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A New York woman is dead and a New York man is injured after an accident involving pedestrians on Interstate 81 southbound on Saturday evening. It happened around 8:35 p.m. at mile marker 204.8. According to Pennsylvania State Police Dunmore, Michelle C. Garcia, 23, and Justice G. Danenberg, 24, both of Ithaca, New York were struck by a vehicle operated by Juliana I. Barnhart after an accident on the interstate.

DETROIT (FOX 2) - An Ecorse man died early Saturday in a three-vehicle crash on I-94 in Detroit. Police said a stolen GMC Terrain was broken down on the westbound side of the freeway near Lonyo and was blocking the right lane. A semi-truck with a dovetail stopped to avoid hitting the GMC. However, a Jeep Wrangler was unable to stop and hit the truck around 1:20 a.m., pushing it into the GMC.

EDON, Ohio (WANE) – A man is dead after he was hit while filling up his SUV which had run out of gas Friday morning. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, just after 6:15 a.m. emergency crews were sent to S.R. 107 just east of S.R. 49, three minutes east of the Indiana-Ohio state line, on reports of a crash. Officials report that Nathan A. Gamble, 33, of Montpelier, Ohio was attempting to put gas in his disabled 2005 GMC Envoy when he was hit by a westbound 2009 Dodge Dakota.

According to CHP, a Santa Rosa woman driving a Tesla, lost control of the car and stopped facing the wrong direction, in the center median on Highway 101 near Highway 12 around 10:30 p.m. The woman then got out of her car and stood away from her car as she awaited help.

Maryland State police are investigating a crash last month on the Beltway as a hit and run, in which a driver hit a man who was changing a tire on the shoulder. Around 7:45 a.m. on Oct. 31, a silver vehicle crossed the white shoulder line near the interchange of I-495 and U.S. 29, police said in a press release on Monday. The vehicle struck a 26-year-old man who was changing the driver’s side front tire of his vehicle.

A woman was fatally struck Sunday evening while attempting to move a disabled vehicle off a roadway in southwest Wyoming’s Uinta County. The crash happened around 5:50 p.m. near milepost 8.85 on U.S. 189 northeast of Evanston. The Wyoming Highway Patrol says the occupants of a Subaru Outback were attempting to move their vehicle after hitting a deer when 64-year-old Utah resident Amy Castillo, a passenger that was standing on the driver’s side of the Subaru, was hit by a car and killed.

At least 11 vehicles were involved in a pileup crash in Eagan Saturday morning as road conditions became icy. Minnesota Department of Transportation cameras show multiple cars begin to lose control and crash at around 7 a.m. The crash occurred on Highway 77 at Interstate 35 in Eagan. According to FOX9, the crash resulted in multiple non-life threatening injuries. MN Crime posted video of the pileup on social media and YouTube.
