Tampa man hurt, 3 Teslas damaged when car hits disabled auto-carrier on I-75
The crash occurred just after 9 p.m. Sunday when the driver lost control near State Road 60. BRANDON — A 25-year-old Tampa man was seriously hurt when he lost control of his car and slammed into a parked semitrailer truck, damaging three Teslas it was carrying, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The crash occurred just after 9 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 75 near State Road 60.The Tampa man was headed south in a 2013 Kia Optima at a high rate of speed when he lost control for unknown reasons, entered the outside shoulder and hit the truck, the Highway Patrol said.

CONGRESS TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) - Two passengers in a box truck were killed after the truck they were riding in collided with a semi-tractor trailer stopped along I-71 in Wayne County early Sunday. Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers are investigating the crash that involved two commercial trucks headed northbound near milepost 195 on I-71, according to an OSHP media release. The crash occurred shortly after 3:30 a.m. after a 2017 International semi-tractor trailer stopped along the northbound berm on I-71, the release said.

Arlington, TX – October 2, 2021, 27-year-old Barni Omar and a teen girl were injured when a semi-truck hit their disabled car on Interstate 20 in Arlington. Authorities say the incident happened around 12:10 a.m. on I-20 (Ronald Reagan Memorial Highway) near Bowman Springs Road. Preliminary investigation suggests Omar was driving a Toyota Corolla west in the 6700 block of the freeway in the far right lane. Reports indicate the vehicle was traveling very slowly along the 70mph roadway due to having a flat back tire.

A 69-year-old man was killed in a traffic accident 40 miles south of Des Moines, near New Virginia on Friday evening. Steven Kohli, of Iowa City, was on the side of the road checking damage to a car he was traveling in that had just hit a deer when another car hit him, the Iowa State Patrol said. Both cars were traveling south on Interstate 35. No other injuries were reported.

FLORENCE, S.C. (WCIV) — The South Carolina Highway Patrol says one person was killed and three other injured in a crash on Saturday. Lance Cpl. Nick Pye said the crash occurred in the area of Cale Yarbrough Highway and Cartersville Highway around 11:47 p.m. A 1987 Buick coupe was traveling north on Cale Yarbrough Highway when it struck a pickup truck that was disabled on the side of the road from a previous collision.

SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) – A woman was killed earlier this week in Virginia after stepping out of a car on the highway and into the path of a tractor-trailer. She was also holding a 3-year-old child, who was said to have suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. The accident, which involved three tractor-trailers and a sedan, occurred in Spotsylvania County on Wednesday morning at around 5:11 a.m.. Traffic was shut down for several hours afterward.

A Good Samaritan from Long Island assisting two motorists on the New York State Thruway was hospitalized in serious condition after being struck by a passing van in the Hudson Valley.
