A 21-year-old driver was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Porterville, according to the California Highway Patrol.TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) – A 21-year-old driver was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Porterville, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash happened after 3 am on State Route 65 near Morton Avenue.Officers say a box truck driver was traveling south when the vehicle had a tire failure. The truck hit a guard rail and came to a stop in the southbound lanes.

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A man was killed after a truck hit his stopped car on a north St. Louis interstate late Thursday night. A 2019 Chevrolet Silverado crashed into the back of a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze that was stopped in the slow lane of westbound interstate 70 near Branch Street around 11:30 p.m. The Cruze was stopped due to possible car trouble, according to police. The driver of the truck ran from the scene but was quickly taken into custody by detectives with the Anti-Crime Unit.

CHEROKEE COUNTY, S.C. — South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers reported Wednesday a death as a result of a car crashing into another car parked on the side of an Upstate interstate. The collision was reported Sunday at just after 5 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-85 near mile marker 101 in Cherokee County, Trooper Gary Miller said. That’s one mile south of Blacksburg. Miller said a woman from Lilburn, Georgia, was driving a 2020 Nissan sedan when she went off the right side of the road and hit a disabled and unoccupied vehicle parked on the shoulder in the emergency lane.

Authorities reported that the accident took place at around 12:51 p.m. along US Highway 59 in the area of Williams Way Boulevard. In their reports, officials said that a 33-year-old Wharton man was in a Lexus traveling eastbound on the highway. Ahead, an 18-wheeler was on the shoulder after a previous crash.

A Van Wert woman is dead after a crash at the intersection of Cool Road and Lincoln Highway Monday night. Lima troopers say 75-year-old Linda Tuckerman was killed after the report of multiple crashes. The highway patrol says she was backing onto the wrong side of Lincoln Highway when her car was hit by an SUV driven by 37-year-old Brian Pogan of Pandora. Tuckerman was outside her disabled car which was on the wrong side of the road facing sideways, when she was hit by another SUV driven by 26-year-old David Regan of Lima.

Diane Madesian, of Bettendorf, was killed after being struck by two vehicles on Interstate 80 East in Davenport. According to the Iowa State Patrol, Madesian’s car was stopped in the roadway and believed to be outside of her vehicle when she was hit by a Ford Explorer and a tractor.

MIRA MESA — A 41-year-old man was struck by a big rig and killed Sunday after getting out of his stopped car on a freeway shoulder in Mira Mesa, authorities said. It happened about 3:35 p.m. Sunday on the right shoulder of north Interstate 15 approaching Mira Mesa Boulevard, California Highway Patrol Officer Salvador Castro said in a Monday news release. As the driver exited his Mercedes-Benz sedan, a Volvo semi pulling a trailer in the far-right lane was unable to avoid the man and struck him, Castro said.
