Man’s body pulled from water after crash on Key Bridge

MDTA police said the situation unfolded around 10 a.m. when a truck hit a disabled vehicle, highlighting the dangers of disabled vehicles on bridges. MDTA officials said they were responding to the disabled vehicle on the Key Bridge, but unfortunately, before they got there, an international truck hit the disabled Honda Sedan, sending the driver who was standing outside of the vehicle over the side and into the water. Marine units from the Coast Guard, Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Anne Arundel County searched for the man, officials said.

WALKER, TX, (February 13, 2020) - Three people, including a 4-month-old boy, were injured in a crash with a tractor-trailer on Thursday, February 13th in Walker County. The accident occurred at about 11:30 a.m. on Interstate 45. The driver of a car and a pickup truck were stopped near mile marker 130 after a crash. STRONGSVILLE, Ohio (WJW) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) is investigating a crash that closed I-71 south in Strongsville Wednesday morning. The crash happened around 6:45 a.m. According to OSHP, two cars were involved in a crash. While people from that accident were out of their vehicles, a third car hit one of them. The impact pushed the disabled car into three people standing outside the vehicle. All three were taken to the hospital.

A good Samaritan was hit while trying to help people involved in a car crash near the scene of a vehicle fire on Interstate 95 northbound in Foxborough on Monday. A man stopped near exit 8 near the Foxborough/Mansfield line to check on the occupants of two cars involved in a rear-end collision when a third vehicle crashed into one of the cars, state police said. The impact knocked the good Samaritan, who had been standing next to the driver’s side window of one of the vehicles involved in the crash, to the ground.

Southwest Missouri woman suffers serious injuries in Camden County crash

A Hollister, Missouri, woman suffered serious injuries when a semi-truck’s trailer hit her vehicle, which had crashed on an icy road Wednesday night. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Ronda Bethell, 60, was a passenger in a Chevrolet Trailblazer that lost control on an ice-covered Highway 5 outside Camdenton. The vehicle hit a guardrail and was partially blocking a lane when it stopped, according to an online crash report. The driver, Scott Bethell, 63, also of Hollister, suffered minor injuries.

Kevin Sugg, 46, was involved in a two-car crash on U.S. 264 and Wesley Church Road near Farmville around 7:30 a.m. Sugg’s car was disabled in the median, according to Trooper Noah Miles, and the man got out to speak to a witness.

7 vehicles involved in fatal crash on Florida’s Turnpike

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said the fatal crash took place in the Turnpike’s southbound lanes near the State Road 50 exit around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. Troopers said at least one person was killed in the crash and four others were taken to a nearby hospital. A total of seven vehicles were involved in the crash, according to the Highway Patrol. FHP said the preliminary investigation shows a vehicle was disabled on the right shoulder.
