Man Dies After Hit By Tractor-Trailer On I-95 South In Baltimore County
ARBUTUS, MD. (WJZ) — Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that happened Tuesday night in Baltimore County. Troopers responded to I-95 South at I-195 at around 9:25 p.m. They learned that a 29-year-old man from Florida, Jacob Marshall Dalton, was driving a 1997 Ford Ranger when it became disabled in the right shoulder of I-95 South.For unknown reasons at this time, Dalton stepped from the shoulder into the road and was struck by a tractor-trailer, which was not able to stop before the crash.

CINCINNATI — A woman was killed and two others were seriously injured in a crash on Central Parkway on Sunday. According to the Cincinnati Police Department, officer responded to the 2400 block of Central Parkway in Cincinnati’s CUF neighborhood at around 6:25 p.m. for a report of a crash.Police said a 31-year-old man was driving his 1999 Acura TL south on Central Parkway when his vehicle went left of center and hit a 2010 Chevrolet Suburban driven by a 39-year-old man.

Two people who survived a collision between two cars along a Detroit freeway were struck and killed by a third vehicle as they stood next to their car on the freeway, state police said. Michigan State Police said both people died instantly Sunday night when a vehicle struck them and their car after they exited it and were standing by it on the Lodge Freeway. The victims’ car was blocking the freeway’s left southbound lane after colliding with another car that ended up along the freeway’s right shoulder, state police said in a statement.

The Minnesota State Patrol and several other agencies responded Monday evening to the scene of a three-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 53 at Caribou Lake Road in Grand Lake Township. Four people were transported to Duluth hospitals with life-threatening injuries. At approximately 5:10 p.m., a Buick was traveling north on Highway 53 when it struck a deer, according to the state patrol. The vehicle then stopped on the right shoulder, partially in the right lane.

MESA, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) - It’s been two years since a hit-and-run driver killed a 21-year-old marine on the U.S. 60 near Higley Road.On Nov. 16, 2018, at around 4:30 a.m., Josh Garcia was driving to work when he dozed off at the wheel. The flatbed truck carrying construction equipment rolled over. Garcia was lying in the middle of the intersection–badly injured, but fighting–when two good Samaritans stopped to help. They tried to create a barrier around him, but then another vehicle–a dark-colored SUV–drove through the crash site, hitting and ultimately killing Garcia.

CARDWELL – A motorist died after hitting a the rear of semi truck that had pulled off to the side of Interstate 90 near the Cardwell Hill early Monday. The westbound semi struck a bull elk about 4 a.m. on I-90 near mile marker 253. The driver pulled his disabled truck to the side of the interstate, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.A man driving a Ford Crown Victoria heading west also hit the dead elk and drove into the rear of the semi.

A motorcyclist sitting on his vehicle on the side of the Airport Freeway 183 Express lane was killed Monday morning after he was struck by several vehicles, Euless police said. The name of the victim had not been released pending notification of relatives. Euless police have not determined why the motorcyclist had stopped on the side of the highway.The crash was reported about 6:30 a.m. in the westbound lane of the Airport Freeway 183 Express Lane in Euless, police said.

PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. — One person is dead after a four vehicle accident in Pickens County Sunday night. Master Trooper Brandon Bolt said the crash happened on SC Highway 183 near Hatteras Ridge, around 6 p.m.Bolt said there were four vehicles involved in the crash: a 2017 Toyota Tundra, a 2000 Chevy S-10 pickup truck, a 2019 Nissan Sedan, and a 2006 Honda Accord. Bolt said the Nissan and Chevy were stopped in the northbound lane of Highway 183, and the Honda Accord was traveling southbound on 183.

CENTREVILLE — Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred Wednesday evening in Queen Anne’s County. Shortly after 7:10 p.m., troopers from the Maryland State Police Centerville Barrack responded to a call of a multi-vehicle crash that involved a pedestrian at westbound U.S. Route 50 east of Arrington Road. According to a preliminary investigation, a 2015 Chrysler 200 being driven by Jeremy Keith Weldon, 49, of East New Market, was traveling west in the left lane on Route 50 when he side-swiped a 2015 Ford Fiesta in the right lane.

A Norcross man is facing a charge of first-degree vehicular homicide after being accused of causing a crash that left a 12-year-old girl dead in DeKalb County, authorities said. Eric Cirildo Rodriguez, 42, is also being charged with hit-and-run resulting in serious injury or death and acquiring a license plate for the purpose of concealing identification of a motor vehicle, according to DeKalb jail records. Amiah Shontae’ Kenney Jackson, a seventh grader at Pinckneyville Middle School, was killed in the wreck.
