I-70 westbound closed after car hits deer, semi-truck hits car

INDIANAPOLIS — A serious car crash has closed I-70 westbound, according to the Indiana State Police. A vehicle reportedly struck a deer on Thursday at approximately 6 a.m. The vehicle that struck the deer was then struck by another passenger car. The car that struck the deer was also struck by a semi-truck. One vehicle was also on fire at SR 267, according to ISP. This is an active investigation. Information will be updated as it becomes available.

Man killed, woman injured after multi-car crash involving big rig on 10 Freeway in West Covina

A man was killed and a woman was injured during a multi-car crash on the 10 Freeway in West Covina early Saturday morning. It happened at around 4 a.m. on eastbound lanes of the freeway near Citrus Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol. Investigators say that a 2011 Toyota Camry being driven by a 20-year-old man from Pomona crashed into the rear of a 2012 Honda Civic in the fast lane.

Woman killed after hit by multiple vehicles on I-24 near county line

A pedestrian was struck by multiple vehicles and killed early Sunday morning on Interstate 24 West, Nashville police said. The medical examiner’s office is working with the victim’s family to make a positive identification. According to preliminary reports, the victim had been driving her Nissan Versa east on I-24 near the Davidson-Rutherford County line prior to being struck. Her car reportedly had lost the driver’s side tire, and she was driving on the rim “quite some time,” police said.
