2 to Miami Valley Hospital following multi-vehicle crash
Two individuals were taken to Miami Valley Hospital following the crash at North Gettysburg and Freudenberger, according to Montgomery County dispatch. The extent of their injuries is unknown. A second medic was requested to the scene of a multiple-vehicle crash reported around 6:40 p.m. at the intersection of North Gettysburg and Freudenberger avenues.

A woman was struck and killed by tractor-trailer while she was helping people on the side of Interstate 20, according to the Aiken County coroner. Tamesha Singletary, 44, of Graniteville, was pronounced dead at the Augusta University Medical Center after the accident that happened Friday on I-20 westbound at mile marker 8, Coroner Darryl Ables said. Singletary was putting gas into the stranded vehicle before being hit by the trailer, the coroner said.

CLARNO, Wis. — Four vehicles were involved in a crash Thursday at 5:42 a.m. in the town of Clarno at the N1000 block of State Highway 69 with injuries. According to a release, Alberto Morales, 25, of Leaf River, Illinois, was traveling northbound when a deer entered the road and collided with the vehicle. The deer stayed in the lane and was hit by a second vehicle driven by 40-year-old Eduardo Vasquez-Martinez of Freeport, Illinois, that was behind Morales.

NEWBERRY, SC (FOX Carolina) - Troopers said a big rig driver was arrested after leaving the scene of a collision that claimed one person’s life. Troopers said the crash happened at 7:41 a.m. Friday on I-26 East near Newberry. A pickup towing a camper was legally parked in the emergency lane when troopers said a tractor trailer ran into the emergency lane, hitting the pickup and a person who was out of the vehicle tending to it.

LONG BEACH – A driver was injured after a big rig collided with their disabled vehicle causing them to become trapped inside, early Wednesday morning. Authorities were responding to reports of a stalled vehicle blocking the #3 lane of the westbound SR-91 Freeway near Cherry Avenue when additional calls came in reporting a big rig struck the vehicle around 1:22 AM. Units arriving on scene located a big rig that had collided with with a dark-colored BMW causing the female driver to become trapped inside.

OAKLAND — A man who was just involved in a collision on Interstate 580 Tuesday night was killed by a hit-and-run driver after getting out of his vehicle, the California Highway Patrol said Wednesday. The man’s name has not yet been released. The CHP said the man had been involved in a collision with another vehicle about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday on westbound I-580 just east of the Interstate 80 split, also known as the Berkeley curve.

An accident occurred late last week when a car crashed into a disabled tractor-trailer that was blocking both lanes of Hwy. 169. According to Sheriff Randall Tippins, his office received a call at 4:46 a.m. on March 19 regarding a disabled vehicle. While personnel from Evans County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) were on the scene, said Tippins, a car ran into the tractor-trailer.

According to troopers, the crash happened just east of Aenon Church Road a little before 7 a.m. The woman was initially driving a pickup truck traveling east on U.S. 90, then she stopped the truck in the right lane for an unknown reason, FHP says.

TAMPA — A 36-year-old tow truck driver died Sunday after crashing into a disabled car on Interstate 75, authorities said. Jason Lee Everitt of Thonotosassa was driving a 2017 International tow truck south on I-75 near the U.S. 301 overpass about 11 p.m. when he struck a 2006 Chevy Cobalt parked on the outside shoulder, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. After hitting the Chevy, the tow truck struck the guardrail and overturned down an embankment.

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — A tow truck driver was thrown from his vehicle and killed after crashing into a disabled car Sunday night on Interstate 75 near Tampa, the Florida Highway Patrol said. Jason Lee Everitt was driving near the U.S. 301 overpass when he he hit a car on the highway’s outside shoulder and struck a guardrail. The truck overturned down an embankment and Everitt was thrown from the vehicle, troopers said in an accident report.
