Coroner ID’s Three Females Killed in a Multi-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 215
SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) » Three people killed has been ID in a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 215 two weeks ago. (Photo above is credit by Arlene Ramirez) The collision occurred on the northbound I-215 just before the University Parkway exit at around 11:26pm September 14, 2024, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP reports that three people were travelling north on I-215 in there 2018 Toyota Corolla.

MIAMI LAKES, FLA. (WSVN) - Florida Highway Patrol Troopers were dispatched to a scene involving a crash that led to a fatal chain reaction near Miami Lakes. The incident took place following a three-vehicle crash on State Road 826 southbound in the area of I-75, around 8:27 p.m., Friday. FHP said one of the driver’s family members, an adult male, stopped their vehicle on the roadway and blocked a travel lane, causing two oncoming vehicles to collide with the stopped vehicle.

GREENFIELD Wis. - A Greenfield crash involving a semi-truck left one person dead on Saturday. Police said the semi struck a disabled car on Layton Avenue just east of Highway 100 and proceeded to hit a utility pole. The lone occupant of the car was found dead inside the vehicle. The driver of the semi, a 59-year-old Texas man, stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. He was not injured.

ATLANTA - One person has been confirmed dead, and six others have been injured in a multi-vehicle crash along Interstate 75 on Friday afternoon. It happened around 1:34 p.m. in the southbound lanes near Howell Mill Road. According to the Georgia State Patrol, seven vehicles were involved. The crash occurred in the fourth lane of I-75 South as traffic began diverting around a disabled Pontiac. As vehicles slowed abruptly, two Freightliner commercial trucks struck a Ford Transit van.

CUTLER, Calif. (KFSN) – The man who was struck and killed as he was picking up debris from a crash on a Tulare County highway has been identified. Family members have identified him as 50-year-old Marin Apodaca of Cutler. They say he was trying to help someone who had just been in a car crash moments before. The California Highway Patrol says the crash happened just before 6 a.m. Friday on Highway 63 and Avenue 392, just south of Cutler.

CENTRAL, La. (WAFB) - A pedestrian is dead following a major crash in Central on Thursday evening, Sept. 26. The Central Police Department responded to the crash around 6:08 p.m. at Magnolia Bridge Road and Greenwell Springs Road. According to Chief Roger Corcoran, the pedestrian was changing a tire on the North shoulder headed west when they were struck by another vehicle headed the same direction. The pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - A rear-end collision on I-70 near Highway 69 led to the death of a 78-year-old Kansas City man and life-threatening injuries for two drivers. The Kansas Highway Patrol indicates that around 10:20 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, emergency crews were called to the area of westbound I-70 and Highway 69 with reports of a 2-vehicle collision. When first responders arrived, they said they found that Lori Wiggins, 60, of Kansas City, Kansas, had pulled her 2014 Jeep Cherokee over to the shoulder of the westbound lanes of the interstate.

The crash happened around 4:44 p.m. near Roselle Road in Schaumburg, Illinois State Police said. A gray Chevrolet SUV struck the rear of a truck-tractor semi-trailer that was parked on the right shoulder of I-90, police said. Chopper was over the scene, and the SUV appeared to have extensive damage.

FRANKLIN, MO, (September 26, 2024) - The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) says four men were seriously hurt after being hit by a motor vehicle in Franklin County’s Villa Ridge Thursday afternoon. The incident happened at approximately 2:32 p.m. along Interstate 44 at mile marker 250. According to the Highway Patrol’s report, all the victims had parked their vehicles—a 2007 Dodge Ram and a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban—to change a tire. Meanwhile, a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 27-year-old Rolla man was traveling westbound on the highway when it attempted to slow for traffic ahead.
