1 dead after accident in San Joaquin County
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif. — One person is dead after an accident along Highway 12 in San Joaquin County Tuesday afternoon. The crash was reported around 4:10 p.m. along Highway 12, west of Guard Road. CHP spokesperson Officer Angel Arseo said a Volkswagen Passat and Honda Accord were traveling in opposite directions until the Volkswagen veered over double yellow lines and into the opposing lane, hitting the Honda head on. It’s not clear why the Volkswagen veered into the other lane.

ATLANTA — Atlanta Police are now searching for a driver in a deadly hit-and-run on the I-75/I-85 connector Sunday night. It happened around 11:50 p.m. when officers responded to a report of a car accident on I-85 northbound near 17th Street. When they arrived on the scene, they found the driver of a Kia Optima critically injured. The driver was taken to the hospital, where they later died. The Fulton County Medical Examiner identified the driver who died as Abari J.

SALADO, Texas — One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a deadly crash near Salado on May 24, said the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). According to DPS, A Ford F-250 pickup truck was traveling south on Interstate 35 near the 284-mile marker around 7:19 p.m. The lead DPS Trooper investigating the crash stated that an unoccupied Kenworth truck tractor semi-trailer was legally parked on the improved shoulder due to mechanical failure.

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), a head-on collision took the lives of two drivers, and a third person was killed while trying to render aid on I-25 at Circle Drive on Sunday, May 26. At around 4:45 a.m., CSPD received a call about a wrong-way driver on I-25, but while the call was still being taken, multiple other calls were received about a head-on collision.

A driver was arrested for vehicular homicide after striking two pedestrians, killing one on Interstate 5 Friday night near Ridgefield in Clark County. The crash happened just before 10:30 p.m. Friday night. Washington State Patrol says the driver was heading northbound when he hit a disabled vehicle, lost control and struck two people on the shoulder. A 42-year-old woman was killed, and a 39-year-old man was injured. Both are from Vader, WA.

OSSEO, Wis. (WEAU) - WisDOT released today the name of the man who died in yesterday’s crash in Trempealeau County. According to a news release from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, on May 26 at about 3:40 p.m., there was a crash between an SUV and a semi on Interstate 94 near mile marker 87 eastbound near Osseo, Wis. 39-year-old Przemyslaw Kania of Chicago, Ill., who was driving the SUV, died in the crash.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – A person has died following a crash on the Katy Freeway in the early morning hours of Saturday, according to the Houston Police Department. The crash happened near the city’s Energy Corridor District around 1 a.m. Police said the victim was stalled in a flowing lane of traffic in the westbound lanes near the Eldridge Parkway exit, changing a flat tire when another car came from behind and hit the man.

DICKINSON COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) - A Georgia motorcyclist died after hitting a vehicle that stopped on I-70 near Abilene Friday afternoon. The Kansas Highway Patrol says a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox was stopped in the left lane of eastbound I-70 near mile marker 281 due to a separate accident, when a Harley Davidson motorcycle struck the rear of the Equinox. The operator of the motorcycle, 67-year-old William Anyan of Athens, Georgia, died of their injuries.

At 9:30 p.m. Pharr police responded to a multi-vehicle crash on southbound US Highway 281, near 4800 N Cage Blvd. One woman, 18, died as a result of the collision. Her identity is being withheld until next of kin is notified. A preliminary investigation revealed the 18 year old collided with a stalled vehicle on the right shoulder of the highway.
