2 pedestrians were injured after two-vehicle crash on NC Highway 87
HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) – Two pedestrians were injured after a two-vehicle crash in Harnett County. It happened Sunday morning on NC Highway 87 near Brinkley Hill Lane. When units arrived at the scene, they said they found a two-vehicle crash, and two pedestrians had been hit. Duke Life Flight was called to medevac one of the pedestrians to a trauma center. The other was taken to Womack Army Hospital.

Baltimore County (WBFF) — A 29-year-old man is dead after he was struck by a tractor-trailer on I-795 on Saturday night. According to officials, Maryland State Police went to a crash around 9:00 p.m. on April 13 involving a pedestrian and a tractor-trailer on N/B I-795 at Owings Mills Boulevard in Baltimore County. The pedestrian, 29-year-old Julian Joyner of Bel Air, was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical services personnel.

YUKON, OK, (April 12, 2024) - One person died and two others were severely injured after a semi-truck slammed into two vehicles on Interstate 40 near Czech Hall Road in Yukon on Friday evening. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), a 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer was stopped on the outside shoulder of the highway due to a previous crash. A 2013 Hyundai Sonata traveling in the area slowed down for the crash, and that is when a 2016 Freightliner Semi struck the rear of the Hyundai, which was pushed into the Mitsubishi.

OWINGS MILLS, Md. — A tractor-trailer hit and killed a 29-year-old man on I-795. The collision happened at 9 p.m. Sunday night on Owings Mills Blvd. Officials say the 29-year-old man was dealing with car issues and pulled over. He eventually stepped onto the road when a tractor trailer hit him. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. The Maryland State Police CRASH team is investigating.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal three-vehicle crash that occurred Thursday night. According to police, the crash occurred on Interstate 81 northbound, one tenth of a mile from Route 177 in Montgomery County. Police say the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado was travelling north and rear-ended a Kenworth tractor trailer. The driver of the Silverado pulled over to the guardrail and exited the vehicle when he was struck with an oncoming car.

A Harrisburg woman is dead after a crash early Thursday morning on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Clay Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Kelly Little, 38, was killed when her Mercedes-Benz SUV was rear-ended by a Peterbilt tractor-trailer just after 2 a.m. Little was driving westbound and stopped in the right lane, putting her car in park at mile marker 277.6, northeast of Brickerville. Police said the SUV’s head and tail lights were on, but the tractor-trailer was traveling 65 miles per hour and could not stop in time, rear-ending Little’s vehicle, flipping it off the road.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department said one person is dead after a crash on I-75 Thursday morning. The crash happened on the I-640 West ramp to I-75 North, near Merchant Drive, around 5:15 a.m., according to KPD. Preliminary investigation revealed that a sedan was traveling on the ramp when it rear-ended a semi-truck. The semi was parked on the right shoulder of I-75 North, KPD said. The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene, according to KPD.

An arrest warrant has been issued for a California man after he allegedly sideswiped a parked pickup and camper trailer with his semi truck and trailer on the side of I-40 in Beckham County late last month. The driver of the pickup, was also allegedly hit. According to a probable cause affidavit, the incident occurred on March 29 in the westbound lanes of I-40 near mile marker 20. That’s where an Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper was dispatched to, and found the victim with blood on his face and abrasions on his body.

SAN ANTONIO — A man driving through San Antonio for the eclipse was tragically killed after his RV broke down on the side of a highway Sunday night. San Antonio Police said it happened on 1-10 near Dietrich Road. Police said a commercial truck struck the victim who has been identified as 30-year-old Trevor Tardy of Bremerton, Washington. Investigators initially reported Tardy was chasing after his dogs when he was hit but a witness told KENS 5, that was not the case.
