3 hurt in Warwick highway crash
WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Three people were hurt in a crash on I-95 that caused delays in Warwick Monday morning. Rhode Island State Police said just before 10 a.m., a Jeep was driving south near Exit 27B when it veered off the road and hit a parked tractor-trailer. The Jeep ended up in the center lane and was then struck by another car. The driver of the Jeep was brought to Rhode Island Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Authorities announced the discovery of a body belonging to a Washington state woman in Oregon after she had been missing for eight months. In an email to PEOPLE on Monday, March 3, the Oregon State Police (OSP) said it was notified about a previously crashed vehicle found near milepost 58.5 on Highway 30 — and that a body was found inside the vehicle. “The driver was determined to be the registered owner, who was listed as a missing person out of Anacortes,” according to the OSP’s log dated Feb.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the 31-year-old was standing outside his car that had broken down on State Road 100 in Lake City when an SUV came up and fatally hit him. COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol reported two traffic-related deaths in Columbia County on Sunday. There have been six deaths across five crashes in Flagler, Clay and Columbia counties Sunday morning. At approximately 5:20 a.m., an SUV was disabled in the westbound lane of State Road 100 near County Road 245A, the crash report said. The previous driver of the SUV, a 31-year-old Lake City man, was standing outside the vehicle.

An investigation is underway in Arizona after a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 left at least six people dead and more than a dozen injured. According to information provided by the Arizona Department of Public Safety, just before 1 p.m. local time on Saturday, troopers responded to the area of I-10 eastbound near milepost 89, west of Tonopah, for a crash involving multiple tractor-trailers and passenger vehicles. Several of the vehicles caught fire after the crash, officials said.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) responded to a collision involving a commercial vehicle in Oklahoma City over the weekend. The crash occurred on the morning of March 1 on I-35 near Grand in Oklahoma City. Troopers say that that a semi truck struck a stalled car on the interstate, causing the truck to lose three of the large barriers from the trailer. The barriers struck a second vehicle, according to OHP.

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Police say a pedestrian was struck and several people were taken to the hospital for injuries after a crash involving three cars in Waterbury. The crash happened around 9:41 p.m. at the intersection of Chase Avenue and Hill Street, police said. According to police, the drivers were outside of their cars after a two-car crash when a third car hit the rear end of one of the cars.

(WIBW) - A New Jersey man was killed early Wednesday after a passing semitrailer hit his toppled box truck after it became disabled on Interstate 70 in western Kansas, shutting down a portion of the roadway for several hours, authorities said. The driver of the semi also suffered serious injuries in the crash, officials said. The fatal crash was reported at 6:34 a.m. Wednesday on westbound Interstate 70 in Ellsworth County.

Driver Bobby Little, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash south of County Road 60, according to authorities. No other injuries were reported. Authorities have not released any additional information about the Bradley County crash at this time.
