Body found on Robertson Co. highway identified as missing man
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A body found inside a car at the bottom of an embankment in Orlinda has been identified as a missing man, according to Smoky Barn News. Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed Danny Mark Jordan, reported missing last week, was found dead inside the car, Smoky Barn News reports. The crashed car was found off Highway 49 in Orlinda Sunday. Emergency crews found the body of a man in his 60s inside the car.

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A local man has died after a crash that occurred 5 miles south of Bay Minette, according to a release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. Chase Sharp, 34, of Bay Minette was killed when the Ford Explorer he was driving hit the back of a Kenworth tractor-trailer driven by a Frisco City man. The tractor-trailer was disabled and partly in the roadway during the crash, which happened just after 6 a.

Arlington, TX — July 23, 2023, a man sustained injuries in a truck versus pedestrian accident before midnight along Interstate 20. Authorities in their preliminary public statements said that the accident took place at approximately 11:07 p.m. in the area of Kelly Elliott Road. Investigators said that a 44-year-old man was nearby a stranded vehicle stopped along the right shoulder on eastbound I-20. The man was apparently putting gas in the vehicle when a Freightliner in the right lane hit him with the side mirror.

Fire officials say the woman’s wrecked car was found around 6 p.m. Monday. They say it was in a rural area across the Green River in Ohio County, near the boat ramp on River Road. Officials say she was not hurt, but was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

PLANT CITY, Fla. — Westbound Interstate 4 is back open to traffic following a Monday afternoon crash involving a semi-truck. The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on I-4 near Alexander Street. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a semi-truck driver was heading westbound on I-4 in the inside lane behind a sedan when the sedan experienced a tire failure. When the sedan driver lost control, her car traveled to the outside lane and then back into the inside lane before crashing into the side of the semi-truck.

According to Greene County Sheriff Brad Snyder, a call came into Paragould Emergency Services around 8:16 p.m. regarding a crash on State Highway 69, just east of U.S. Highway 49. Synder said preliminary reports show that two people were standing outside of a vehicle on Highway 69 when they were hit by another vehicle. One person was flown to a hospital.

ST JOSEPH, MO, (September 16, 2023) - Clinton D. Pine was injured on Saturday when his disabled pickup truck was struck by another vehicle on U.S. 59 near St. Joseph in Buchanan County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), Pine’s Dodge 1500 was broken down in the middle of the road when it was hit by a Chevy Equinox driven by a 57-year-old woman. Pine and an occupant were outside the Dodge at the time of the crash and hit by the pickup.

A Sanford man who was reported missing Thursday was found Saturday afternoon trapped inside his vehicle, which had gone off the road and into an embankment. Robert C. Brown, 65, was found in Dover, New Hampshire, near the Maine state line, by people who were walking in the woods and saw his pickup truck. He had last been seen Thursday after he dropped off his wife at work in Rochester, New Hampshire.

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — One person was killed and four others were hurt in a five-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in the southbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The wreck occurred at 10:37 a.m. just south of the Glades Road overpass west of Boca Raton. The Florida Highway Patrol said the incident began when a 2016 Ford transit van was stopped in the southbound center lane of the turnpike.
