Man dies, several others injured in crash on Lee Bridge
RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - A 61-year-old Richmond man died and five other people were taken to the hospital after a crash on the Lee Bridge on Tuesday afternoon. Officers were called to the scene just before 3 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the bridge. Police said an SUV collided into the rear of a disabled vehicle on the bridge. Ellis Green Jr., who was in the vehicle that was struck, died at the hospital later in the day.

Porter, Texas (April 18, 2023) – A man was injured after being struck by a vehicle while he was changing a flat tire on an interstate in Porter, according to a local news source. The crash happened at about 7:15 p.m. Sunday, April 16, in the southbound lanes of Interstate 69, just north of FM 1314. As per the report, the man was helping his daughter change a flat tire on the shoulder of Interstate 69 when a Ford Expedition hit him.

LE ROY, NY, (April 17, 2023) - A 75-year-old man was tragically killed in an accident Monday night on the New York State Thruway. Robert Tincani, of East Palestine, Ohio, was driving a tractor trailer west on Interstate 90 between exits 46 (Rochester/Corning) and 47 (LeRoy) when it was struck from behind by a Toyota RAV4. As the drivers exchanged information outside their vehicles, according to state police, a PC Logistics Group tractor trailer struck the RAV4 and overturned, hitting Tincani as he walked to his vehicle.

COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Troopers are investigating a deadly crash after a disabled vehicle was hit on the side of the highway Sunday morning. According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet Sudan was disabled along I-95 South when a Jeep SUV struck the Chevrolet, veered off the road, and overturned. The crash happened at 1:34 a.m. near mile marker 45. The driver of the Chevrolet received deadly injuries. A passenger of the vehicle was transported for treatment.

Houston TranStar verified the multi-vehicle crash at 6:03 a.m. on Saturday on IH-10 East at the Beltway. The city’s transportation department reported it to be a four-vehicle crash, but investigators with the sheriff’s office said in a news conference the wreck only involved three vehicles.

That man was identified as 55-year-old Olumide Stephen of Washington, D.C. Police say that around 2 p.m., troopers arrived at the scene of a pedestrian crash on the right shoulder of southbound I-495, prior to Baltimore Avenue. In a preliminary investigation, troopers discovered Stephen was changing his right rear passenger-side tire when a black Toyota Prius traveling southbound struck Stephan and the rear of the car.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — North Carolina State Highway Patrol said a 21-year-old man is facing charges after a three-car crash on Interstate 40 East in Winston-Salem. Garret Kneen of Yadkinville is facing a charge of failure to maintain a lane and a registration violation. Troopers said Interstate 40 East is closed between Stratford Road and Hanes Mall Boulevard after a crash involving three vehicles. According to the highway patrol, a tractor-trailer was parked on the right shoulder of I-40 East for mechanical issues.
