1 Person Injured In A Multi-Vehicle Crash In Seattle (Seattle, WA)
According to the Seattle Police Department, a multi-vehicle crash was reported on Friday morning in Seattle. Officials confirmed that one person was injured due to the accident. Authorities stated that the collision occurred on First Avenue down Blanchard Street. A car while traveling struck another vehicle. While the drivers of both the vehicles involved in the wreck were talking, another vehicle turned onto the street. This vehicle struck one of the drivers, pinning them between two vehicles.

WEST ALLIS — Today a fatal accident happened on Interstate 41/894 northbound in West Allis at National Avenue. Reportedly two drivers got out of their cars after the crash happened. The sheriff’s office says just after 9 a.m., two cars got into an accident and pulled over. A third person stopped to help the driver, and a woman involved in the initial crash got out of their cars when investigators say another vehicle, a fourth one, struck them both.

SANDUSKY COUNTY, Ohio — Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers, turnpike personnel and first responders from several agencies responded to a multi-vehicle crash on the Ohio Turnpike on Friday afternoon that left four dead and many injured. The crash happened eastbound between State Route 53 and State Route 4 in Sandusky County and eventually stretched into Erie County. Forty-six vehicles were involved in the crash, according to OSHP Sgt. Ryan Purpura. At least three of the four victims were in different vehicles.

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT/Gray News) – A man in Kentucky died while helping a stranded driver on the highway around 6:45 p.m. Thursday. According to the coroner, 75-year-old George Lucas was driving on U.S. 27 when he spotted a car on the side of the road. The driver had run out of gas. Lucas pulled over to help push that person’s car to a nearby gas station to get fuel.

PEMISCOT COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - One person died and three others were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 55 Thursday night. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 6:50 p.m. at mile marker 20.8 and involved a commercial vehicle and a passenger car. The crash report states a 2009 Kia Spectra ran off the road, hit the cable barrier and stopped in the road. A 2023 Volvo Tractor then hit the Kia.

According to authorities, Erline B. White, of St. Pauls, was traveling in a vehicle that crashed along the interstate close to 6 p.m. After the wreck, White exited the vehicle, attempted to cross the roadway, and was hit by a pickup truck.

In the late afternoon, Illinois State Police were called to southbound I-94 near Washington Street in Gurnee. The accident scene is at the southwest corner of where Six Flags Great America is located. State police said a pedestrian had been driving earlier and had been involved in a two-vehicle crash.

The crash happened just after 1:30 a.m. Thursday along the westbound lanes of Interstate-70 near Harmony Road in the Myersville area. Authorities say the person pulled off onto the shoulder of the roadway and was checking on a front tire when they were struck. The crash is under investigation at this time.

A hit-and-run investigation is now underway after Peoria police found the body of a woman on Loop 101 in Peoria. Just prior to 3 a.m. Dec. 19, the Peoria Police Department was dispatched to a report of a dead body found in a car at an offramp of the southbound Loop 101 in the Gravel Tree area near the Peoria Avenue exit. After arriving, police found a 33-year-old woman outside the vehicle.

Springfield Township, OH — December 20, 2022, 32-year-old Charles Simmons died in a three-vehicle accident on Interstate 70 in Springfield Township. Authorities say the incident happened around 6:00 a.m. on westbound I-70 near mile marker 52. Preliminary investigation suggests Simmons was driving a Nissan Altima west on the highway when he was involved in a crash and his vehicle became disabled. Soon afterward a Freightliner 18-wheeler approached and hit the Nissan, after which both vehicles ran off the right side of the road and caught fire.
