Driver of pickup truck injured after hitting semi, which hit cow on I-70 West in Preble County
LEWISBURG — The driver of a pickup truck suffered minor injuries after rear-ending a semitrailer, which was rendered disabled and left partially on I-70 West at Lewisburg in Preble County after that second driver hit a cow in the roadway Tuesday night, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said Thursday. Crews were called to reports of a crash involving a car and a semi-trailer about 11:45 p.m., according to OSHP. Before the crashes, crews had received a call about a cow on I-70 in the area of Lewisburg.

PASCO, FL, (July 14, 2022) - A 6-month-old girl was killed on Thursday, July 14, in Pasco County when the car that she was a passenger in was struck by a semi-truck that fled the scene after the collision. An 8-month-old boy and a 3-year-old boy also suffered major injuries in the fateful accident, which occurred at about 12:30 a.m. along the southbound lanes of Interstate 75. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the sedan got a low or flat tire.

THESSALONIKI, Greece (AP) — A three-car pileup caused by a pack of wild boars in northern Greece killed two people and left four more hospitalized, police said Tuesday. A police patrol car carrying three police officers slammed into the pack of boars and veered off course; a few seconds later, a second vehicle hit the pack, tipped over and landed in a nearby field.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the unnamed victim was in the southbound lanes near a disabled vehicle that had stopped in the passing lane of the freeway near mile marker 26. The pedestrian and the stopped vehicle were initially both struck by a southbound F-250 pickup truck; then a third vehicle hit the pedestrian.

A 23-year-old Lebanon man was killed before dawn Monday beside his broken-down vehicle that was partially in the travel lane on Interstate 78 in northern Berks County while trying to wave down other motorists for help, state police at Hamburg said. Jarrod Evans was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened about 4:40 a.m. and involved four vehicles in the eastbound lanes at mile marker 26.4 in Tilden Township.

Clayton County police have arrested the driver of a tractor-trailer that struck and killed a woman standing outside her disabled car on the shoulder of an interstate late Thursday night. The victim, whose family identified her as Jamecca Parris-McKnight, 31, was traveling with a child and was stopped on I-675 northbound near Anvil Block Road before she was hit at about 10:30 p.m. She was pronounced dead on the scene, and the child was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

LEHI, Utah — An accident killed two motorists Thursday night in Utah County. The crash occurred just before midnight on northbound I-15 approximately 1 mile north of the Timpanogos Highway exit in Lehi. According to Sgt. Cameron Roden with the Utah Highway Patrol, a Nissan passenger car rear-ended a stopped Honda Pilot. The Nissan swerved but was unable to avoid the Honda. Roden said the two occupants of the Pilot were transported and listed in extremely critical condition.
