Roseville Two-Vehicle Crash Kills Child and Injures Mother
A two-vehicle crash in Roseville on November 16 killed a minor child and sent the mother to a hospital. The accident happened along Interstate 80 at Riverside Avenue sometime before 9:00 a.m., according to the report issued by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The woman and her child were riding in a sedan. The driver of the other vehicle was in a pickup. The sedan involved in the fatal collision was disabled on the Riverside Avenue on-ramp due to a flat tire when it was hit by the pickup.

CORYELL COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) - Authorities are investigating a deadly hit-and-run collision that claimed the life of Corinna Lee Ann-Nadine Pope, 30, of Lampasas, Texas, a woman reportedly struck by two vehicles the morning of Nov. 17. The collision happened at about 4 a.m. on I-14 near the Bell Tower exit in between Killeen and Copperas Cove. The Texas Department of Public Safety said the driver of a Dodge pickup was travelling east in the outside lane of I-14.

One fatality was confirmed Thursday morning after the Virginia State Police responded to a multi-vehicle crash near the intersection of U.S. 460 and Route 1401 in Tazewell County, Va. The crash occurred about 6:40 a.m., according to Shelby Crouch, public relations coordinator for the state police. The initial crash occurred when a pick-up truck and an SUV collided, Crouch said. The driver of the pick-up truck exited their vehicle at which point a third vehicle struck the pick-up truck and its driver.

Memphis, TX. (November 16, 2022)- 25-year-old Kayla Terral was killed, and 26-Michael Solis was injured in an auto-pedestrian crash on November 15, 2022, near Memphis, Texas. The accident occurred around 4:00 a.m. on state Highway 256 just east of Memphis. DPS reported that a westbound Toyota Corolla became disabled after hitting a deer. The driver of an oncoming Dodge Caravan did not realize that the flashing hazard lights were due to a disabled vehicle until it was too late.

MOUNT LAUREL - A regional high school community is mourning the loss of a beloved counselor and coach in a traffic accident here. William Scully, 49, was fatally struck Tuesday night as he exited his vehicle on the shoulder of southbound Interstate 295 in Mount Laurel, according to New Jersey State Police. Scully was a guidance counselor and coached boys and girls volleyball at Sterling Regional High School in Camden County.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a Kansas City, Kansas woman was killed in a crash Monday night that started with a deer strike. Troopers were called to the southbound lanes of Interstate 435 at Missouri 152 Highway around 6:35 p.m. Monday night to investigate a crash. The MSHP crash report stated a 2022 Ford Explorer was southbound on I-435 when it struck a deer and became disabled, blocking the roadway.

WILL COUNTY, Ill. (WLS) – One person has died and three others were injured in a south suburban car crash early Monday morning, Illinois State Police said. One vehicle was disabled in the right lane of southbound Illinois Route 394 at Steger Road just after 12:45 a.m. when another vehicle hit it, state police said. The driver of the disabled vehicle was taken to a local hospital with injuries, and the passenger of the disabled vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene.

A 23-year-old man from Starkville, Miss., was injured while assisting his cousin, the driver of a disabled vehicle, change a flat tire, according to a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol. The incident occurred last Tuesday, Nov. 8, shortly before 6 p.m. on Interstate 40 East near mile marker 171. According to THP Public information Officer Sgt. Alex Campbell, Joseph Daniel Blackburn was standing by the driver’s door on the side of the road using the flashlight on his cellphone to help his cousin change the tire on the cousin’s 2014 Chevy Malibu when he was hit by a passing vehicle that had failed to stop following the crash.
