Motorcyclist struck in multi-vehicle pileup on 110 Freeway in South Los Angeles
Emergency crews responded to a major traffic incident involving a motorcycle and multiple vehicles on the 110 Freeway in the Vermont Vista area of Los Angeles Monday morning. The crash was reported just after 6 a.m. when a witness said a vehicle struck a motorcycle on the southbound side of the freeway near the 105 Freeway and took off, the California Highway Patrol stated. The motorcycle apparently went down in the express lanes.

DUBLIN — A driver died early Saturday after a Mercedes-Benz crashed into the center divide of a freeway and was then hit by other cars, authorities said. The driver was ejected during the chain reaction crash and died at the scene. Authorities did not identify the driver immediately, police said. According to Dublin police and the California Highway Patrol, the Mercedes C230 hit the divider wall on southbound Interstate 680 southbound north of Alcosta Boulevard.

On November 11, 2022, at approximately 5:05 p.m., the State Police responded to a report of a car vs pedestrian serious injury accident hit and run on St-Rte 14 in the town of Horseheads. When troopers arrived, they discovered an individual with serious injuries and life saving techniques were performed. The adult male, later identified as, Jon Gearhart. age 44, was transported to Arnot Ogden Medical Center were he was pronounced deceased.

A severe collision between an SUV and a tractor trailer on Interstate 95 seriously injured a driver. Harnett County Communications Center received a 911 call at 3:14 p.m. on Friday reporting a collision on I-95 south at the Exit 70 (Bud Hawkins Road) entrance ramp. Traffic in the south bound lanes was brought to a complete stop backing traffic up for two miles. Dunn Emergency Services was immediately dispatched to the wreck.

A man died Thursday night after swerving off southbound Highway 99 in the downtown Modesto area, crashing into a disabled vehicle that was sitting on the shoulder and being ejected from his vehicle, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision happened about 7:50 p.m. south of the South Ninth Street on-ramp. The CHP news release on the incident said the driver of the 2019 Chevrolet was traveling at high speed when he swerved to the right, onto the asphalt shoulder.

PANAMA CITY — A Bay County man is dead after a traffic crash Wednesday night. According to a press release from the Panama City Police Department, Danny Woody, a 65-year-old Youngstown resident, was killed in a single-vehicle crash that occurred sometime between 7 p.m. and midnight Wednesday near U.S. 231 and Cherokee Heights Road. Police said Woody drove off the road while traveling north on U.S. 231. He was pronounced dead on scene.

GREGG COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A Kilgore woman who had stopped her car in a roadway and exited it was struck by another vehicle on Nov. 2. According to Texas DPS’ preliminary report, JoeAnn Knight, 76, of Kilgore, had stopped her 2016 Mazda CX-7 in the eastbound lane of Goforth Road, about one mile east of Kilgore. Her vehicle was facing west in the eastbound lane, the report states. Then, Knight got out of her vehicle.

Police have arrested a man that’s accused of fleeing a crash that left two pedestrians dead on Interstate 91 in Wethersfield last year. State police said 34-year-old Shawn Wright, of Windsor, turned himself in to police on Wednesday after learning there was an active warrant for his arrest. On Sept. 19, 2021, troopers responded to a car accident involving pedestrians on I-91 North at about 4 a.m. Responding officers said a total of four pedestrians were involved.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. (KTXL) — With the help of three Caltrans District employees, a woman and her four dogs were saved after their vehicle went down an embankment along State Route 32 on Nov. 3. Tina Milberger and her four dogs were traveling on State Route 32 at around 11:30 p.m. when she lost control of the vehicle and went over the edge of the road after overturning. Hanging upside down and unable to get out of the vehicle Milberger was stranded in the wrecked vehicle until two Caltrans maintenance workers from Chester discovered her vehicle.

ENON, Ohio (WDTN) — One person is dead after a chain reaction crash on eastbound I-70 Wednesday morning. According to the Springfield post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, there were 3 crashes. The first crash involved a car that swerved to avoid a deer carcass. That car hit a semi-truck. The driver of that car got out and was hit by another vehicle. She is in stable condition.
