Body found inside vehicle that crashed in ditch off Chula Vista street
CHULA VISTA, Calif. (CNS) - An unidentified woman was found dead Wednesday in an SUV that apparently crashed on a Chula Vista street before coming to rest upside down and partially submerged in a drainage ditch, authorities said. A landscaper spotted the overturned 2005 Ford Explorer near a broken section of fencing in the 700 block of Telegraph Canyon Road shortly before 10 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Chula Vista Police Department.

Irving, TX – October 17, 2022, Juan Venegas Ipina and Eric Arzola were injured in , due to an accident where their vehicles crashed on Loop 12. Officials said that the incident took place at around 1:20 a.m. along Walton Walker/Loop 12 at the Highway 114 overpass. Initial details suggested that 22-year-old Juan Ipina was in a GMC Sierra traveling southbound on the highway. For reasons unclear, a crash occurred, leaving the GMC disabled, perpendicular to traffic.

CEDAR CITY — Multiple collisions were reported during snowy weather early Wednesday afternoon along a stretch of Interstate 15 near the New Harmony exit. Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Bambi Baie said the first crash, which happened shortly after noon, involved a Subaru Forester heading southbound. After its driver lost control, the Subaru rolled off the right side of the roadway and ended up on the passenger side. At least three other vehicles sustained damage as another driver who had stopped to help had his vehicle rear-ended by another car, which then shot across the roadway and struck a semitractor-trailer, Baie said.

A man was killed this morning when a vehicle that was disabled with no lights in lanes of the Valencia (5) Freeway in Santa Clarita was struck by another vehicle. The crash was reported at 3:13 a.m. on the southbound Valencia Freeway south of Highway 126 and Newhall Ranch Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash left one vehicle on its side and the man in lanes, the CHP said.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - HEMSI responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a pedestrian on Monday night at 5017 Millennium Dr. NW. According to Don Webster with HEMSI, the 25-year-old female pedestrian and a male driver of one of the cars are being transported to the hospital. The pedestrian is said to have non-life-threatening injuries while the male driver has minor injuries. According to Rosalind White with the Huntsville Police Department, it is believed the woman was hit by an oncoming vehicle as she attempted to respond to a nearby two-vehicle accident.

A two-vehicle crash west of Winnipeg last Friday blocked traffic on the Trans-Canada Highway for several hours. Manitoba RCMP responded to the collision in the eastbound lane of Highway 1 about two kilometres east of Sidney just before 5 p.m. When emergency crews arrived they found a flat deck semi-trailer stopped on the shoulder which had been struck by an eastbound box truck. Police determined that the driver of the semi-trailer had pulled over onto the shoulder of the highway to check his load when it was struck from behind by the box truck.

Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) responded to a call of a collision on I-264 W @ I-65 S. Sixth Division officers say that a semi was stopped in the “gore of the road” on I-264 Westbound with a flat tire, when a passenger vehicle also westbound on I-264 struck the rear of the semi, broke out into flames with the driver inside.

A woman who was involved in a crash on Route 15 north in Meriden early Sunday morning has died after she was struck by a passing vehicle. State police said two vehicles were involved in separate crashes on the highway around 1:30 a.m. and became disabled in the left and right lanes of travel. While the vehicles were disabled in the travel lanes, investigators said the driver of one of the vehicles, later identified as 29-year-old Breanna Alexandria Rivera, of Southington, exited her vehicle.

MSP said the crash happened on the southbound side of the interstate prior to Route 212 in Beltsville. Shortly before 8 a.m. this morning, troopers from the College Park Barrack responded to a crash on southbound I-95 before Route 212 in Beltsville. Troopers said the car hit the back of the tractor trailer which was on the left shoulder of the roadway.
