DPS: Orange child who died in bridge crash was not in car seat or seatbelt
A 4-year-old girl that died in a three-vehicle crash on the Rainbow Bridge last week was not in a child safety seat or seat belt at the time of the incident, according to information from the Texas Department of Public Safety. The wreck happened at approximately 12:10 p.m. Friday on Texas 87 on the Rainbow Bridge. The 230-foot tall bridge connects motorists between Orange and Jefferson counties. A 2005 Ford pickup was disabled in the left lane of the bridge, DPS said.

A man who has been missing from Harrisburg for more than a week was found dead in a crashed car on Route 11/15 Monday, according to Perry County Coroner Robert Ressler. The crash was reported around 5:15 p.m. at exit U.S. 22/322 near the Perry County-Dauphin County line, PennDOT spokeswoman Fritzi Schreffler confirmed. Ressler said it was a single-vehicle crash, with 26-year-old Earvin Otero as the only occupant. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, but officials believe the car was there for a couple of days.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) — One of the two men who were struck by a car Monday in southwest Shreveport has died. The Caddo coroner’s office identified him Tuesday, March 29 as 42-year-old Joseph L. Jones, of Caddo Parish. The wreck happened at 8:41 p.m. Monday, March 28 on Colquitt Road at Walker Road, Caddo 911 dispatch records show. The Shreveport Police Department says a Dodge Ram pickup truck and a Suzuki motorcycle were stopped in the eastbound lane of Colquitt Road when the collision happened.

Bamoun were standing alongside a Toyota Camry that was disabled in the left lanes of the express lanes near milepost 53.2 in Union Township around 8:20 p.m., New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said.

Fontana, CA – March 25, 2022, one person was killed when a passenger vehicle crashed into a parked tractor-trailer off Interstate 15 in Fontana. Authorities say the incident happened around 2:55 a.m. on the southbound shoulder of I-15 near the Duncan Canyon Road exit. Preliminary investigation suggests only that the victim was traveling south on the roadway when they lost control for unknown reasons. Their vehicle swerved out of the travel lanes and crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler that was parked on the right shoulder.

That’s according to New York State Police who say that Megi Hamza of Guilderland was traveling northbound on the Northway at around 4:45 a.m. on Sunday morning near the Twin Bridges when her vehicle became disabled in the middle land. Troopers say a tractor trailer driver turned on his hazard lights and pulled up alongside Hamza vehicle.

A car crash involving over a dozen vehicles on a Pennsylvania highway amidst a brutal snow squall closed all lanes, with reports of people trapped, dozens of injuries and at least three deaths. The crash occurred before 11 a.m. Monday morning on I-81 northbound between Minersville and Highridge Park Road, with an estimated 50 to 60 vehicles involved. UPDATE: 1:10 p.m. - March 28, 2022 PHILIPSBURG - The Granite County Sheriff’s Office said a man who was reported missing has been found. Sheriff Scott Dunkerson says law enforcement responded to an area west of Hall after receiving a call from a local resident who saw a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle 59-year-old Joseph Musekamp was driving and found him in his disabled vehicle. The vehicle had become stuck in the snow and ran out of fuel.
