Johnny Eugene Rockey Injured in 18-wheeler Accident in Gaines County, TX
Gaines County, TX – November 12, 2021, Johnny Eugene Rockey was injured following an accident where Rockey’s vehicle crashed into an 18-wheeler. Investigators reported that the crash took place at around 7:06 p.m. along US Highway 180 at County Road 441. Preliminary investigations said that 49-year-old Johnny Eugene Rockey was in a Ford F-150 traveling westbound on US 180. The pickup somehow went onto the shoulder where it crashed into the back of a parked 18-wheeler.

MUNSTER, Ind. (WLS) – A crash on eastbound I-80/94 involving three semi-trucks has caused a massive traffic backup Tuesday morning. The crash occurred just after midnight Tuesday as a truck trailer full of meat was on the shoulder of the eastbound lanes of I-80/94 near Indianapolis Boulevard when it was hit by a semi-truck carrying 40,000 pounds of salt hit the trailer and rolled over. The trailer with meat spilled out on the road and the truck carrying salt also lost its load.

Merrillville, IN – December 6, 2021, 37-year-old Marques White was killed in a collision with a stopped tractor-trailer on the shoulder of Interstate 65 in Merrillville. Authorities say the incident happened around 5:50 a.m. on southbound I-65 near 61st Avenue. Preliminary investigation suggests a commercial 18-wheeler was disabled on the side of the road when White, driving a large box truck, reportedly left the roadway under unknown circumstances and crashed into the back of the semi-trailer.

A 26-year-old woman killed in a five-vehicle crash on Interstate 215 in Riverside was stopped with other motorists because of a disabled pickup truck when a sedan slammed into the back of her car, authorities said Monday. The fatality occurred about 6:30 a.m. Sunday on southbound I-215 near Columbia Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol. Sgt. Charles Murray told City News Service that the driver of a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup stopped in the fast lane after his rear left tire went flat, at which point three vehicles behind him came to a stop, including a 2018 Honda Civic with a Fontana woman at the wheel, farthest to the rear.

Sadly, she died from her injuries. A 27-year-old man died and three other people were injured when a pickup rear-ended a stalled sedan Saturday morning on State Highway 360 in Arlington. Arlington police were dispatched just before 8 a.m. to the 2300 block of South State Highway 360, near East Sublett Road, where a southbound Toyota Tacoma had crashed into a stalled BMW sedan. A 27-year-old passenger in the BMW was thrown from the vehicle. The man, identified by the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office as Arlington resident Tomi Davis, was taken to a hospital and died a short time later.

A tractor-trailer crash and fire caused a late-night closure of Interstate 35 in Lenexa Friday. The Kansas Highway Patrol says two vehicles were involved in a crash on northbound I-35 just north of US-69 Highway about 10:30 p.m. One vehicle rear-ended another, and the striking vehicle continued northbound, leaving the other vehicle stopped on the interstate. Seconds later, troopers say a tractor-trailer rear-ended the stalled vehicle. No one was inside of the stalled car.
