Savannah Man Injured in Truck Accident on I-95 in Colleton County, SC
Colleton County, SC – December 8, 2021, one person sustained injuries due to an accident where a vehicle crashed into a disabled truck on I-95. Investigators were called to the scene near Walterboro in the area of I-95 and US Highway 21. Officials said that a flatbed truck traveling along the roadway when it somehow became disabled along the median lane. The truck reportedly had its flashers on when a refrigerated delivery truck crashed into the flatbed.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville Fire Rescue said it’s a miracle no one was killed in an interstate pile-up on I-95 south near Airport Road Thursday afternoon. The first 911 call came in around 3 p.m. Rescuers responded within minutes. “I pulled up. All I could see were cars and trucks turned and crashed,” Jacksonville Fire Rescue Captain Eric Prosswimmer said. These kinds of crashes are rare on Northeast Florida Highways, but are not unheard of.

Another heartbreaking tragedy has happened on Acadiana’s roadways. Louisiana State Police Spokesman Trooper Thomas Gossen says a man died on Highway 90 near Amelia after trying to fix his disabled vehicle. The details are gut-wrenching. According to officials, 51-year-old Kumaravel Nadar of Morgan City was driving his vehicle on Highway 90 when it became disabled. He moved the vehicle to the shoulder of the roadway, and according to Gossen, he went to get another vehicle to see if he could use jumper cables to get the original vehicles up and running.

A 62-year-old man from Sebastian has died after he lost control of his pickup truck on State Road 52 and collided with a flatbed trailer parked on the side of the road, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release. The man was driving on State Road 52, east of Shady Hills Road, when he got into a left turn lane and tried to pass other vehicles, the release said. He lost control of his truck, which traveled south and passed through the eastbound lanes of the road.

A Warren man was found dead in a disabled vehicle on Interstate 76 in Rootstown Tuesday night, according to the Ravenna Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. According to the patrol, Chris E. Gilger, 67, suffered a medical emergency after pulling his Toyota Prius off the eastbound lanes of I-76 onto the shoulder. He was discovered by troopers at about 10:48 p.m. Gilger was the only occupant of the vehicle.

Earlier reports suggested there may have been three tractor trailers involved, with one of fire. BOW VALLEY – Emergency services are busy responding to accidents on the Trans-Canada Highway, including a multi-vehicle accident west of Lake Louise earlier today, and another multi-vehicle crash east of Canmore. RCMP say there were three tractor trailers involved, including one semi-trailer that caught on fire in the pileup that occurred in the eastbound lane about three kilometres west of Lake Louise.

The crash happened around 7:06 p.m. on U.S. Highway 98, west of Skylark Road in Okaloosa County, according to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol. The man stopped his vehicle on the northern shoulder of U.S. Highway 98 after he was involved in another crash. The other vehicle came to a stop in the center median.

George A. Lloyd III, 67, of Cleveland was driving a 2017 Dodge Caravan.

Reports said that 20-year-old Ashis Biswa was outside two vehicles along the side of the interstat working on a disabled vehicle. For reasons unclear, a tractor-trailer reportedly left the road and crashed into the disabled vehicles, hitting Biswa.
