Lewisville, TX – December 30, 2021, 81-year-old Kenneth Olson was killed when a commercial tractor-trailer struck his disabled vehicle on Interstate 35E in Lewisville. Authorities say the incident happened around 1:45 a.m. along southbound I-35E. Preliminary investigation suggests Olson stopped his vehicle in one of the highway’s travel lanes. BALTIMORE — Maryland Transportation Authority Police are investigating an overnight crash on New Year’s Day that left a 34-year-old woman dead. It happened around 2:15am, on the southbound side of I-395 near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Baltimore City. Latia Nicole Hopkins died after multiple vehicles struck her at the location. Police believe Hopkins was hit after she stopped her car in the road for some reason, and got out.

DUXBURY – A multi-car crash in Duxbury on Sunday sent one person to the hospital with serious injures and the driver allegedly responsible for the chain-reaction crash is facing charges. State Police spokesman Dave Procopio said in a press release that troopers responded to the northbound Route 3 crash at 10:21 p.m. Sunday. The driver, a 28-year-old Scituate man, crashed into a guardrail on the left side of the road, leaving his car disabled in the left travel lane.

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) A mother and her two children were hurt after a semi slammed into the car they were traveling in Sunday evening in northern DeKalb County. The crash took place just before 9 p.m. about two miles south of the Dekalb, Steuben county line according to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department. An investigation determined that the driver of a semi was northbound when he failed to see a Monte Carlo parked on the east shoulder.

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — A person was killed and two others were seriously injured after being hit by vehicle on Interstate 270 Sunday morning. The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of I-270 between I-76 and Vasquez Boulevard in Commerce City. Commerce City police (CCPD) said the people were outside of the their broken-down vehicle waiting on assistance when another vehicle lost control and slammed into it. The out-of-control vehicle then struck the people, police said.
