Michael Robert Keyser Killed Hesperia Car Crash on 15 Freeway
Mr. Robert Keyser stopped his 2015 Mazda 3 on the shoulder of the freeway and went to offer aid to the driver of an overturned big rig. As Keyser stood in the No. 3 lane, an oncoming big rig driven by Michael Hensley of Tennessee, struck him before crashing into the first big rig. The two trucks caught fire after the collision. Michael Keyser and the unidentified driver of the first truck were killed in the accident.

At about 1:45 p.m. police had surrounded a vehicle on northbound I-25 just north of the Bijou exit. Someone was reportedly outside of a truck when they were hit. The call for the crash came in at about 12:40 p.m. Investigators are reporting a moving truck was traveling northbound on I-25 when the vehicle sustained a flat tire. An employee went to the front of the truck and peered around the driver’s side when he was hit by the side mirror of a passing truck.

A preliminary investigation revealed a Toyota with three occupants was disabled in the right distress lane — and a pickup truck with two occupants stopped at the scene to assist. While the driver of the pickup was standing outside of his vehicle, the driver of a Chevy Malibu coming from the east to the south ramp lost control and struck him.

Phoenix police say the victim, only identified as a 34-year-old woman, was crossing 35th Avenue mid-block when she was struck by two vehicles headed southbound. The woman is believed to have stopped in the roadway when the crash happened. Police say the victim was taken to the hospital but died a short time later. The first driver that hit the victim reportedly saw her and tried to avoid hitting her, and the second driver struck the woman after she had already been hit.

A motorist, who got out of his sport utility vehicle following a crash on the 91 freeway in Long Beach Tuesday evening, Jan. 21, died at a hospital after at least one other vehicle hit him, authorities said Wednesday. The 21-year-old man’s name was withheld pending notification of his family. The Los Angeles resident was driving a 1998 Honda CR-V that collided with another vehicle about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday on the westbound 91, west of Cherry Avenue, said California Highway Patrol Officer Marcos Iniguez, of the Santa Fe Springs Area office.

Troopers said a driver of a Dodge Ram stopped to help a driver of disabled Ford 550 truck that was stuck in the median on State Route 11. The driver of the Dodge had stopped to assist by pulling the disabled F-550 from the median. Once the disabled truck was removed from the median, it rolled across the northbound lanes of State Route 11 and was struck by a 2008 Ford F-150 driven by Brandon White, 37, of Austinburg.

GSP says the accident victim, Ayuba Cunningham, was parked on the east shoulder on State Route 25 north at Hutchinson Island Road with his lights and hazard lights on. When Cunningham walked towards the front of the car to see what the issue was, Amber Black failed to maintain her lane and started to drive on the east shoulder. Black’s car struck Cunningham’s, pushing his car 22 feet on the shoulder and striking Cunningham.

A Ford F-150, with three passengers, was disabled without lights on in the northbound lane of the highway after hitting two elk, according to a crash narrative from the Montana Highway Patrol. A semi, also driving north, didn’t see the truck in time and crashed into it. The pickup was pushed off the right side of the road and a 9-year-old boy was pronounced dead on scene from the impact.

A multi-vehicle crash involving an Idaho National Laboratory bus on Highway 20 in Bingham County resulted in 34 people being injured, thousands of gallons of fuel being spilled and the road being shut down for 13 hours.The wreck occurred around 8:50 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 20 westbound east of the INL. State police said visibility on the road at the time of the crash was impacted by fog and blowing snow.
