I-70 westbound closed after car hits deer, semi-truck hits car

INDIANAPOLIS — A serious car crash has closed I-70 westbound, according to the Indiana State Police. A vehicle reportedly struck a deer on Thursday at approximately 6 a.m. The vehicle that struck the deer was then struck by another passenger car. The car that struck the deer was also struck by a semi-truck. One vehicle was also on fire at SR 267, according to ISP. This is an active investigation. Information will be updated as it becomes available.
