APD investigating fatal 3-car crash on I-49
ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - The Alexandria Police Department said they are investigating a fatal crash involving three cars on I-49 over the weekend. APD said Danielle Jones, 28, was driving southbound on November 30 around 4:29 a.m. when the vehicle (a GMC Acadia) left the road and hit a guardrail. The impact caused the vehicle to become disabled in the middle of the road. Shortly after, due to heavy rainfall and reduced visibility, the Acadia was hit by two other vehicles.

MAUMEE, Ohio — Two pedestrians were killed after being hit by a vehicle on the side of I-475 South in Maumee. The crash occurred Sunday just before 5:30 p.m. According to a press release, a 19-year-old was traveling south on I-475 when the driver struck two pedestrians, ages 29 and 30, who were walking on the left shoulder next to their disabled vehicle, identified in a press release as a semi-truck.

Four Texas firefighters were injured early Sunday when an 18-wheeler slammed into their fire engine as they were blocking traffic to a freeway entrance following a car crash, authorities said. The incident unfolded around 2 a.m. in north Houston, according to the Houston Fire Department. The injured firefighters were taken by ambulance to a hospital, officials said. “We are asking for prayers for our four injured firefighters,” Patrick M. “Marty” Lancton, president of the Houston Professional Fire Fighters Association, said in a social media post.

Clifton Park, NY (November 26, 2025) – A deadly multi-vehicle crash shut down part of Interstate 87 on Sunday night, November 23, in Clifton Park. The New York State Police said the wreck happened in the southbound lanes just south of Exit 11. Troopers responded around 8:00 p.m. after receiving reports of a serious collision. A preliminary investigation found that two vehicles traveled south on the highway. One vehicle rear-ended the other, which pushed the struck vehicle off the left shoulder.

A 41-year-old driver was killed after he crashed into the back of a disabled truck on Interstate 80 in Roxbury early Friday, officials said. Michael Murphy was driving east at 5:20 a.m. when he hit the truck, which was broken down in the right lane, State Police said. Murphy, of Blakeslee, Pennsylvania, was pronounced dead at the scene, about three-quarters of a mile east of exit 30. The truck driver suffered minor injuries.

Clifton Park, NY – On Sunday, November 23, at about 8:11 p.m., State Police responded to a serious multi-vehicle crash in the southbound lanes of I-87, just south of Exit 11 in the town of Clifton Park. The preliminary investigation determined two vehicles were travelling southbound when one vehicle rear-ended the other, sending it off the left shoulder and into a guardrail. That vehicle was then struck by a third vehicle and came to rest against the guardrail facing north.

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Investigators are searching for the hit-and-run driver they say fatally struck a man and critically injured a woman who were outside their vehicles on Interstate 95 in Chesterfield early Saturday morning. Officials with Virginia State Police said the hit-and-run crash happened on I-95 south near the exit for Route 10 just before 2:25 a.m. When troopers arrived, they found a Jeep Compass and a Nissan Altima stopped in the interstate’s right lane.

BRUCEVILLE-EDDY, Texas — UPDATE: (9:15 a.m.) Officials have begun the process of reopening the northbound Interstate 35 lanes closed as a result of a traffic accident. According to TxDOT officials, Troopers responded to a three vehicle crash at around 7:45 a.m. near mile marker 317 in Bruceville-Eddy. According to authorities, the accident occurred when a semi-truck that had been parked on the shoulder of the road was struck by a waste management truck.
