OHP: Driver killed in crash involving semi-trailer Thursday on I-35 in northeast OKC
OKLAHOMA CITY — Authorities say a driver was killed in a crash involving a semi-trailer Thursday evening on Interstate 35 in northeast Oklahoma City. The crash happened shortly before 6:10 p.m. on southbound I-35 near Northeast 50th Street, which is just east of Remington Park. An Oklahoma Highway Patrol collision report states that a driver was heading south on I-35 when their vehicle went off the road while trying to pass a vehicle on the outside shoulder.

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Both directions of the Kansas Turnpike were closed between Emporia and Cassoday on Friday due to a crash. The crash was reported just after 5 a.m. near Emporia. It involved three semitrailers, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. Initially, the Kansas Turnpike Authority said some passenger vehicles were also involved, but the KHP crash log only mentions the semis. According to the patrol, a disabled northbound semi was blocking the median and both driving lanes.

ST. ROBERT, Mo. (KY3) - A 48-year-old Lebanon woman was killed Tuesday night after her pickup truck was struck by a semi-truck on Interstate 44 in Pulaski County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash happened at 9:00 near St. Robert. The woman’s pickup truck was stopped in the road when the semi-truck hit it. Both vehicles went off the interstate after the collision. The pickup truck hit a cable barrier, and the woman was thrown from the vehicle.

TITUSVILLE, Fla. — A 27-year-old paramedic from North Carolina was killed on a Florida interstate Saturday after stopping to help a driver who was hit and killed while exiting his vehicle after a crash, FHP says. Mary Jolly is being hailed as a good Samaritan for stopping on I-95 in Brevard County to help the driver. The Gaston County EMS department is mourning her loss. A 33-year-old Port St. Lucie man was driving a 2019 Chevy Impala when he moved from the center lane into the outside lane and struck a Volkswagen, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. – A serious crash closed part of I-69 south in Johnson County Monday morning. The Indiana Department of Transportation attributed the closure near mile marker 154 to “an injury crash.” INDOT said all lanes of I-69 south were initially closed, with traffic getting through on the right shoulder. OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. (KOKH) — Two men were killed after they got out of their car on Interstate 35 and were hit by another vehicle. It happened shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday on northbound I-35 at mile marker 165 near Guthrie. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the two men were in a vehicle that struck a deer. They then stopped and got out of the vehicle to check the damage when a semi truck struck them and their disabled vehicle.

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A driver died after exiting his sedan on Interstate 95 and being hit by two other vehicles overnight in Brevard County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers responded shortly after midnight to northbound I-95, just south of State Road 46, reporting the driver — a 33-year-old Port Saint Lucie man — died at the scene. According to an FHP crash report, the Port Saint Lucie man was driving a 2019 Chevy Impala in the center lane of I-95 as a 45-year-old Weston man drove a 2024 Volkswagen ID.

A fatal accident occurred on northbound Interstate 95 near State Road 46, resulting in the driver’s death and serious injuries to a Good Samaritan. Troopers are investigating an incident where a driver got out of his vehicle and was hit by two other cars, resulting in his death at the scene. A Good Samaritan who stopped to help was also hit by a vehicle and airlifted to a trauma center in critical condition.
